Dude I knew the blind sister was up to no good , I think Rong Shaobao should leave this family , the grandmother…
Previews show that RSB will leave soon. I agree that she should stay away but I don’t want the others to reap the rewards of her effort. I hope that everything goes badly for them with her gone!
I don’t think they’re acting anymore. The angst is inevitable at this point, and there’s nothing we can…
Yeah, I know...I agree that RSB will understand that LJL had to do what he had to do. It doesn't stop the hurt and anger but maybe it would help soothe things over between them faster.
Crazy wishful thinking but what if LJL and RSB are acting even now, the separation and all that so that LJL can resume his identity, help the Yang lady and resolve the case… I just want our power couple to stay strong together! I don’t want the angst of them being apart!😢
After rewatching Episode 36 (and several other episodes), I’m finally letting this feel-good gem go. It’s officially filed under comfort rewatches for when I am in the mood to watch beautiful people build beautiful relationships that actually feel genuine, grounded and enduring.
Some of the family drama and college-friend angst felt a bit like filler—but I won’t complain since I did get the satisfaction seeing them getting their karma.
Honestly, the grandma is the real villain here. She’s poisoning everyone with negativity, and at this rate,…
That makes a lot of sense, and I hope that's how it will go down. She's one of the divisive ones powerful enough to destroy the Rong family's harmonious culture and traditions. RSB needs to replace her in order to bring the sisters back together again.
I love that the villains are basically tripping over their own egos and incompetence. Our amazing leads and the people by their sides just keep doing the right thing—no scheming, no mud-wrestling, no moral downgrade required. Karma’s doing all the heavy lifting.

I think you could be right. I had the thought that she was the one ultimately asking that Steward Chen to spy on the whole Yang business, and finding out where RSB hid them.
I swear I felt more gratification than XiGuang herself when she finally unloaded all that pent-up resentment and grievances. And honestly? Her father is extremely lucky he got to play the “I’m sick” card—because otherwise, how is a single text message supposed to cover years of emotional debt?

Yes exactly...the others are just typical villains with their own interests. She is the insidious one for no reason but to spread misery in the name of the family reputation.
Wait so the promise RSB made infront of her ancestors is invalid since the marriage didn't happened . That oath…
Well, maybe the specific one about LJL for now but if they ever marry, it will be valid. The other ones are still binding and they are horrible oaths :(
I wondered which children or grandchild was from that deceptive grandfather…But Grandma Rong making RSB take…
Yes, those were some serious vows. I don't know what that means now that everyone knows the truth about LJL and there's no way he can escape their suspicions about being a court spy. :(
Ep 18 was so good but I know the sisters will come back scheming. Such a shame- if they could just see past their jealousy, they see how good RSB is towards them. What she did for the 2nd sister was touching.
Ultimately, the grandmother is really the true antagonist. Pitting the sisters against each other and now trying to control RSB. She had a bad experience so now she thinks that her grandchildren will go through that too.
It seems both were broken apart or had to breakup under unsavory circumstances and both seemed to have deeply…
That makes a lot of sense. Not only her, but many people can say horrible mean things to people they love when they are fighting and raging. I am just disappointed that she was also in the same industry, training to be an idol (I think) and she still didn't understand the necessity to deny any relationship publicly. She may hate it but that's the world they are in.
In any case, even if she did not mean to break up with him then, how can she sanely imagine that she cld just show up and assume the same position that she herself destroyed years ago.
Crazy notion but what's scary that I think there are some like her in real life where they cannot move on...

Highly recommended!
