That Yang family is relentless and shameless! Honestly I’m so sick of the men buzzing around like flies. Except LJL of course ! However, as sick as I am of them in this show, I do like watching them in their own dramas 😁

I watched the drama version first and understand why some felt that the movie version was a bit rushed. However I enjoyed this movie version and I like some differences more in this version. I also prefer the portrayals by Angelababy and Jing Boran - they were more natural and fitting to me. Overall this was a great blast from the past, seeing many actors now have become main leads in their own shows!
Seven episodes in, the plot is gripping. The supporting cast is a bit uneven, but Edward Zhang is excellent. Ning Chang is also doing well, though her expressions feel very similar to her roles in other dramas. Still, solid performances overall.
Poor YBY—what a first mission. Luckily, she followed WMYL’s advice, though she also benefited from a fair bit of luck.
Perhaps...remembering the other shows like Hidden Love, First love, etc...they all started with initial kisses that felt more natural...who knows - it could be the directing but the director has some great shows under his belt. Anyway, we know the leads can deliver based on other dramas so I guess we will just wait and see.
We have more coming so let's see whether it was deliberately planned to show them getting more comfortable together, thus increasing the spice level :D

Agree with everyone else - the skinship is a little underwhelming. Yes, the lighting and music make the moments very sweet but it does lack some spice.
I love how Xi Guang and her mother always have each other’s backs — one trying to protect the other in her own way. It’s the kind of bond that gives confidence to both of them.
Ep 26…even before the wedding, our couple has a photographer and videographer documenting their moments! Love love XiGuang’s family! Ngl, when they had their kiss, my first thought was if this was real life, she would complain that her make up was going to get messed up, and she didn’t bring her bag to fix it up! 😅
👏👏👏if you like the leads and modern romantic dramas, the FL’s current drama airing is ‘Shine On Me’ and the ML’s drama from last year ‘The Best Thing’ were both very well received!

So true - RSB was so quick to send the body away and not let anyone see her. I’m so curious - did her men intercept the real bad guys when they tried to drown Wanwan? Or was it even the real Wanwan? So many questions!

Actually I think she sincerely wants to protect him but yes, I agree that she already suspects he’s gotten his memory back. I’m not sure about the thugs…between them, they have so many enemies 😅
