I usually don’t care about the ratings and I’m used to haters just trashing the dramas of some artists. However lately it’s gotten so bad that I wonder how the MDL folks can ignore such obvious flaws. Don’t they care about the quality and reputation of their platform???

Yeah I’m watching ep 7 now and even though XiaoYao doesn’t believe it yet, Hong Ye already sees her as her own self and liking her for it. I wish she would slow down and listen and he would speak up louder. I agree - they won’t be a spicy couple - more like an adorable one that we will watch with smiles.
Dear MDL admins - you should rethink how people can rate… why should anyone be allowed to rate episodes that have no aired yet? And how can reviews be objective if the show just started?

Oh good…I would be annoyed if the plot continues like most xianxia dramas where the characters stubbornly stick to their misguided beliefs until the very end (typically a redemption arc 😁)

That’s the plot I’m expecting but perhaps there will be more angst when Ning An resurfaces. Not sure but I’m expecting the romance to heat up when Xiao Yao grows up a bit and see more of the evil side of humans and the good side of the demons.
Im still catching up but I feel that Bing Zhu’s and his sister’s hatred is misdirected.
Their misery started with evil oppressive humans, the sister was the one who chose to sacrifice herself not thinking how that would impact her brother for the rest of his life and he was the one who provoked the demon tree first… I don’t see how they could justifiably blame the demons for their own suffering.
I guess it’s the typical plot - everyone blaming Hong Ye just because how history was recorded before their time. So glad that XiaoYao is there to defend him.
