nobody gives a monkey about him, just take him off of the screen 🙄
Exactly...I was so happy with XiGuang's final rejection. That should be the end of it. Why do we need to see him and his colleagues with their work troubles...
He needed to realize how mean and harsh he was towards NXG, and how she felt back then. He didn't need a break…
XiGuang's candid and clear rejection was a good enough wake up call. I was hoping that we were done with that and I don't want to see him become even more miserable at work. I rather have more time with our leads :D
Just finished ep 31 - Our lovely couple is getting more comfortable with each other....as most of us suspected, because of that, their skinship is getting spicier...
Side note: do they have to make Zhuang Xu more miserable? Give the guy a break.!
I think all the sisters will eventually get their redemption arcs. LJL will help RSB through that process. I want…
That makes sense - the only way to return to the magnanimous Rong family that RSB reminisced about. She has to break the hateful cycle of jealousy and vindictiveness.
Can you tell me what there in ep 18 preview please in words
The weather would turn so bad and we see LJL carrying RSB on his back while they and her servants go up the tea plantation. LJL cutely complaining away. Then we see the 4th sister bullying and whipping the girl that helps RSB manage the plantation, so the other tea workers got really upset and quit working. Then there are fights between those workers and the 4th sis’ servants. Until RSB comes and whipped the 4th sister. Cut to the scene of the 2nd sister’s sedan chair being stopped by that shady tea guy she was doing business with and getting bribed. He wants to hold her hostage until he’s sure the Ring family can deliver the tea. Otherwise his investment will be lost.
it might be misleading because in the official drama trailers of the drama all the women are still tearchous.…
I don't think they will be taken out completely...just like that He guy, they will keep popping up. But I want them to suffer in ep 18, just to see that smugness wiped off their faces!
Goodness from ep 16 to ep 17, the schemes just kept piling on…I don’t know which villain is attacking - there’s so much switching and our leads are just staying ahead for now!
Ep 16 - Water dripping off his hair—that LJL scene 🥵🔥😍 And then RSB follows it up by making full use of her beauty. Honestly, just watching the two of them on screen is already a feast; the entertaining plot is merely a bonus.
I an only up to ep 19 but I can get why people love this xianxia. It really is quite different from the more recent ones. Chang Chen fits the role of the God of War so well and Nini is just perfect as a young maturing immortal. I love how we can see this manly GoW slowly develop feelings for our lovely LingXi, and the way he softens and show his adoration. I know there will be angst coming so I am preparing for it 😭
I enjoyed this movie. There were moments when the editing felt choppy but I really liked HXM's and Yang Mi's portrayals of the leads. They had great chemistry and their visuals are just amazing to look at. HXM really delivered the intensity I was expecting of He Yi Chen. Definitely recommend. Just don't compare to the drama that had more time to develop the backstory and characters.
I am with you! I am glad that he learned his lesson...that will teach him to be more assertive but he has to build…
I think he has after XiGuang very candidly and clearly told him where he had gone wrong. You're right - before that, he has not done much self-reflection other than acknowledging he should have followed his heart instead of listening to others, and that he should have known better about XiGuang's character. He also realized that he hesitated too much. After XiGuang's honest scolding, I don't think he has any choice but to be fully aware of his mistakes.
