That's the inconsistent part of MX's character I don't understand. She appeared to be completely honest to FY except for anything related to her feelings for WJG. She even told FY about rescuing WJG so why hide everything else?
At this point, I just want FY to know the truth. Doesn't matter if MX and WJG don't end up together. I am curious about the future because in the novel, MX has WJG's child but he will marry FY and bring the child up....Sigh..sounds super angsty!
In a way, I would have preferred MX's crush on WJG to be unrequited, and instead, he always regarded her as a sister. Unrequited love is less painful to watch, especially with the forced circumstances and secrets.
In this love triangle, MX rubbed me the wrong way in a couple of things: 1) She never should have lied to FY from the beginning. If she were as sincere as FY was to her, their situation would not be this messy. 2) She was always in WJG's face, telling him that he owed her big time and that he cannot abandon her. All this guilt-tripping makes me question WJG's feelings.
In a way, WJG reminds me of Qi Heng, from the Story of Ming Lan, who was Ming Lan's, first love. As much as he claimed to love Ming Lan, he was effectively useless, having to follow social expectations and also being forced by circumstances.
CWD, on the other hand, is like Gu Ting Ye, the ML who ended up being the right and best man for Ming Lan.

I agree that the two sisters need to separate, but if MX was honest with FY from the get-go and even now, they can still be together. After all MX did everything to save FY and I don't see FY as someone vindictive or spiteful. She was not even that in love with WJG. Anyway, I prefer CWD so yes, we need him back!!! That's the thing - even if the situation cannot be helped, and the circumstances forced MX and WJG apart, there is NO reason to lie to BFY. In this case, I truly dislike the way MX is handling it. WJG is at least trying to do the right thing, but MX is the one throwing the temper tantrums and pushing him even further away!
Liu Mei Tong looks good and believable both as a male and female role. Probably why she is chosen for this role.
