Technically, they were not really cheating lol but yes they were lying and having secret talks, so that's emotional cheating.

WJG started writing a letter to the emperor telling him that he cannot accept the marriage edict, and therefore have to refuse the marriage. However, before he could finish the letter and send it off, the news came that CWD is going to attack Jiangchou. So of course, the letter was left half done and forgotten.

I wonder if it is her low confidence. Like she is afraid to share because she thinks people, including FY will mock her for thinking that she is worthy and good enough for those men.

Yup, she was acknowledged by his men and him. He told MX to wait for him to get her. He's already staked his claim on her.

And yet, she lied and made FY cry and feel guilty about other things. She can deliberately hurt FY, but in this case even when she so fervently declared that she cannot give WJG up, she becomes a coward?

The hole is too deep, reinforced by the emperor's edict, MX's incomprehensible cowardliness, and the mother's annoying pressure.

I wish WJG was a cool ML and just told his mom - sorry, I have bigger things to worry about than this silly matter of a wedding.

Yeah, I was annoyed but at the same time, I kept thinking "serves MX right". So many chances to explain and I still cannot understand why she refuses to do so. She is fine hurting FY and making her cry by lying and making her feel guilty about other things so why can't she just tell FY about this???

I guess Qian could be 50...you know Asian ladies, they never look their age ;D
If Xiao is really A, then yeah, it explains why QTX is so protective of him. ZJK didn't even know about their relationship

I think so too...I didn't really catch the amount, but it seemed like a lot! I am so suspicious of ZJK that I suspect he gave her the money knowing that she will spend it back on him. He's very good at manipulating her using reverse psychology.

Lol...yes, I wouldn't be surprised if that is the ending. Well, at least we get a smile. Until now, there were only little gestures, not even a decent hug through a dramatic rescue attempt by HLY 😆

The love triangle with the lying continued, except now with an irritating mother-in-law acting silly and putting pressure. WJG again tried to do the right thing, but of course, there was a disruption. MX still hurting BFY in some cases, intentionally just to get her way.

Why on earth would the show add another complication by having FY save WJG??? Isn't the situation complex enough????

WY, ah WY...he's getting competitive over MX. Plotting against WJG using CWD. I like this character because he's so gray...

Silver lining - CWD is back!!! And the war is going to start so hopefully, this love triangle arc will be done... The extra bonus is his men already acknowledge MX as the general's wife...lol

At this point, definitely. LYT may be protecting An Ni indirectly by cutting ties with her but she is still too obsessed with ZJK to be a true friend

Yeah I was wondering about that too. It did imply that she still cares for An Ni and she knows that if she wants to continue trying to save ZJK by exposing A, she needs to cut her ties with An Ni to not implicate her.
