All 40 episodes done! I applaud the actors for carrying this show. The plot is all over the place as the show…
So those who should have been punished were punished but XME still got the last word in. The final trial was very interesting to follow but I am disappointed by the star lawyer that XME hire for his defense (Kevin Tan!!!). For a stellar attorney who was An Ni's idol, he did not put up much of a defence...lol LYT surprisingly made a full recovery, and everything wrapped up nicely for everybody including Huiquan... Except it was an open ending for An Ni and HLY - haha! Poor guy, he tried, but An Ni was just too busy! If there is a season 2, I will surely watch!
All 40 episodes done! I applaud the actors for carrying this show. The plot is all over the place as the show tries to provide educational information about the prosecutors' jobs using different cases. There was one main underlying case that threaded through the episodes, but the story did not flow well and the editing as well as directing could have been much better. Still, I enjoyed watching this drama especially Reba's successful attempt at a different kind of role. She did very well and so did the other main actors including Han Dong who really should have been listed as one of the main cast.
Hints of it. Very low-key. There was interest, with the ML more expressive towards the end but FL only showed responses in the last couple of episodes. I have not watched the final episode so cannot tell for sure if there is something definite in the end.
I wonder if the show wanted us to feel sorry for MX and WJG for their doomed love. That we would be rooting for them, for CWD to be killed and FY to join the nunnery so that, ultimately these two would be able to be with their first loves. Well, if that's the case, then it was a HUGE FAIL. I utterly despise WJG and borderline dislike MX. A line that if MX crosses over just the slightest would cause me drop the show LOL
Since I am on team CWD all the way, I am irritated at MX for not appreciating him sooner and hurting him in her…
Exactly, I suspect that at this point, it is not even about his love for MX anymore. It is his ego and pride that someone else got his woman, the same woman that he gave up and wanted to make a clean break from.
Now that they are both married to others, WJG and MX are kind of cheating now...
Yeah, I am really bothered by how WJG totally forgot about integrity and his morals. MX has never pretended to be righteous - she only wanted to protect her happiness to the point she was willing to be his concubine at one point. She was also honest with CWD although if she does cheat on him, it would be unforgivable.
Now that they are both married to others, WJG and MX are kind of cheating now...
At this point, WJG's way worse than WY to me. WY may be scheming behind the scenes causing a war to destroy both his rivals but he is not a faithless cheater.
Now that they are both married to others, WJG and MX are kind of cheating now...
Until they commit the physical act, I can still somewhat tolerate it but I am so mad at WJG for hugging her. His integrity is totally gone now that someone else has laid claim to his woman…Now is it really all about MX or his pride?
Now that they are both married to others, WJG and MX are kind of cheating now...
Same here. I will likely drop the show if MX does physically cheat on CWD with WJG. I was so mad when WJG hugged her, but if they go beyond that, that would be the last straw for me.
Now that they are both married to others, WJG and MX are kind of cheating now...
Urgh, if MX really cheats on CWD, I might not continue with this show. I won't be able to stand it. I am already so annoyed with WJG getting all physical with MX. I really wish CWD would explain himself more!
Since I am on team CWD all the way, I am irritated at MX for not appreciating him sooner and hurting him in her little temper tantrum ways. Still, there were cute moments between them and MX was starting to realize his good. CWD has really taken her under his wing, teaching her about the political shenanigans.
As some of us suspected, WY being obsessed over MX and going after both his rivals just for her.
I am tired of WJG for now though and wish that we didn't have to see him for a couple of episodes. Also FY, when is she finally going to grow into her own? I thought Xiao Wu talked some sense into her but the only outcome is that she stayed alive. She still just moping and crying. I know that her behavior is understandable given her situation but I need her own arc to pick up and finally move forward.
Now the show has thrown in a melodramatic twist to cause trouble between CWD and MX...why can't we enjoy some nice moments between them for a bit???
