1) FY finally finds out which is something I always wanted but I didn't like the way MX revealed it, saying some…
She didn't seem to have any resentment towards MX even after finding out about everything. I am a bit torn about her character. She seems too pure, too selfless and only concerned about MX.

Yeah I definitely got that impression. About FY, he was upset but about MX, he totally lost his cool. Amazing how easily people can just cut themselves so easily whereas I worry about paper cuts lol
Next episodes bout to be spicy!!2 days, 4 eps.HLY ain’t trying to hide his feelings no more.
He's been hinting for a bit now...and An Ni is still just brushing him off or playing along when she teased him about being jealous...lol At least she did not outright reject him like she did with XME.
The plot is finally picking up again. I am waiting for XME to announce that he is Yin's son. I hope An Ni consults…
I think XME/ZSY did kill the mother. I cannot understand how the mother can hurt him so much. Did the show reveal yet why YHQ left the mother and son? I don't think so but I may have missed something. The usual reason would be that he cheated on her to be with someone wealthy but wouldn't that be too cliched?
Yay 👏🏼💕https://twitter.com/bucinyangdi1188/status/1670642297028096000?s=61&t=3QXbYHmzkYRei4aETWDW8Q
Nice - happy for Reba who making another breakthrough with this role. But An Ni's and HLY's ending will be open...hope that they leave us with enough crumbs to be satisfying and hope that a sequel is certain
I liked An Ni with white board figuring things out she got it. For all her blind delusion, I hope LYT wakes up…
Yeah, I thought it was realistic how she came to her deductions. Even the assumptions she made were educated guesses and not blind leaps of faith. It doesn't bode well for LYT if the show wants to stick to realistic conclusions. Maybe in her case, dreamland logic will prevail and she will miraculously recover.
I like that CWD is portrayed as a normal man, someone who would do things for love even if he is the mighty general. Xiao Wu, his subordinate is a great side kick, fully aware of CWD's feelings for MX. Also, CWD openly declared to MX that he likes her, and that she can make him do things just because she knows that. MX cannot claim that she did not know how he felt from the beginning.
I hope that this arc continues a bit because their interactions are most entertaining, and I like watching the cat and mouse game between CWD and MX.
Eps 24 & 25 - It was satisfying yet a little uncomfortable watching those 2 episodes...
1) FY finally finds out which is something I always wanted but I didn't like the way MX revealed it, saying some harsh words and making herself look bad. Just as we suspected, FY was completely oblivious to everything but would have not stepped in their way.
2) CWD really gets MX. He's able to see through her schemes and words. I hope that it won't take long for MX to accept him. In a way, it seemed that she already have some kind of feeling for him, ok, maybe not love yet, but least she was already starting to act like a general's wife after the wedding. I loved watching CWD's face during the wedding - he was truly pleased.
However, I wished that CWD didn't try to go through the consummation. I had expected him to understand MX's inexperience and the circumstances, and give her some time to adjust and accept. He didn't fail me in the end but the scenes before that were a bit awkward.
CWD is endearing though, so indulgent towards MX and he sees her value and even find her adorable in her most annoying actions. "Her scoldings are more melodious than some songs" - haha! That is a man in love.
4) Poor WJG - what to do with this guy? Of course he had to go rescue FY at first since it was about his pride and reputation but he was quite calm the first round. However, as soon as he found out that MX was the one to marry CWD, he went berserk, even writing a blood letter! At this point, I feel that he has not given up on MX while MX will let go of her infatuation with him. Now that FY knows, what will happen?
I know how the novel ends but I am curious how the show is going to end this on-going love square.
5) FY - still not very resourceful but she sure has her pride. Luckily there were people who reminded her that killing herself would make MX's sacrifices pointless. I am still waiting for her to finally grow more and become "street smart"..
Ooh, XME got a new do starting ep 35. Didn't some of us say that he will eventually get cleaned up and become sleeker? Doesn't matter though since An Ni has closed in on him.
Maybe I'm biased but the way An Ni deduced and came to her conclusions about XME was pretty well done. Sure, there were a couple of assumptions but they were more educated guesses which were accurate from viewer's perspective.
Hmmm, HLY Is becoming more flirty with his comments... lol...I was not looking for it in this show but the low key romance vibe is cute, a relief from the heavier themes.
Was traveling so haven’t watched ep 23. Based on the comments, sounds like I might as well wait for tomorrows episode to get through the cliffhanger quickly 😆

4 more episodes and I'm still liking this show.
