Since I am on team CWD all the way, I am irritated at MX for not appreciating him sooner and hurting him in her little temper tantrum ways. Still, there were cute moments between them and MX was starting to realize his good. CWD has really taken her under his wing, teaching her about the political shenanigans.
As some of us suspected, WY being obsessed over MX and going after both his rivals just for her.
I am tired of WJG for now though and wish that we didn't have to see him for a couple of episodes. Also FY, when is she finally going to grow into her own? I thought Xiao Wu talked some sense into her but the only outcome is that she stayed alive. She still just moping and crying. I know that her behavior is understandable given her situation but I need her own arc to pick up and finally move forward.
Now the show has thrown in a melodramatic twist to cause trouble between CWD and MX...why can't we enjoy some nice moments between them for a bit???

Well, by henpecked, I mainly mean the outer appearances because I don't think he was willing for the scene at the brothel to happen. Especially during that period, a man's reputation is so important.
What happened to Song Yi, her acting is a bit rigid so far, other than that the story is so nice

I get what you’re saying. She’s cute in this show but not that attractive. I don’t think the style suites her. But overall she is better looking than many other actresses.
On episode 5 and I love how the empowered the FL is, by her in laws and the entire Gu household. Soon, she will become less restrained and be her true self. I guess that’s when the ML will find that she is exactly the kind of girl he likes. I just wish there was more balance between our couple. I don’t like a henpecked ML or a somewhat shrewish wife for too long so I hope our FL will give poor GJS some face soon!
