Yeah I guess I expected more from him. Both him and CWD are mighty generals but WJG is such a wuss compared to CWD.

No progression at all with MX or FY. Both continue to be equally silly. At least preview for ep 29 gave me some satisfaction seeing WJG’s face. Finally he and FY, like you said can just GO!

A little draggy but they are building up the relationship between CWD and MX and for MX to find out more about the real CWD.

Yes, I really hope that MX will see beyond her illusions about WJG and give CWD a chance. It's the romantic in me, rooting for the underdog... lol

I was truly disappointed when WJG decided that it was fine to abandon FY and take MX away. Simply with the excuse that CWD would not hurt FY just because he knew that MX was the one that mattered to WJG. Even saying that he would take her home and marry her in a grand fashion. And then when MX at least had the decency to show a little concern for FY, she shifted back into "it's all about me mode" and they become all lovey-dovey and promptly forgot about her. So much for MX truly caring for FY. She's already hurt FY so much indirectly. Yet, after meeting WJG, she still had the audacity to tell CWD that FY was special to her and that she would not allow anyone to bully her. Well, what the heck is she doing with WJG?

Not to mention, these two were legally and properly married to other people.

Also, we, as the viewers have more insight into the characters, so we know CWD is much better husband material than WJG. From a viewer's perspective, MX would be happier if CWD were given the chance and time.

So to me, WJG is such a hindrance at this point.

Yup, I lost all respect for WJG and for a moment disliking MX more.

I was not questioning why WJG was upset. It was realistic for him to be angry and have his ego wounded, and of course, I expected him to rescue them. I was only amused by his vastly different reactions when it came to finding out about FY and MX being forced to marry. I also understand MX's hatred and fear of CWD since she had a lot of misunderstandings about him.

However, after the first few scenes of ep 27...

I am not questioning why WJG is upset. It is realistic for him to be angry and his ego wounded, and of course, I expect him to rescue them. In fact, I was only amused by his vastly different reactions when it came to finding out about FY and MX being forced to marry. It is only after the preview of episode 27 when I lost my respect for him. It was then, at least suggested by the preview when he appeared to have lost his morals and integrity based on when he said to MX and hugged her. Even a hug is considered scandalous during that time period. To me, they were both cheating because they were truly married to other people. That is the part that annoyed most of us, I believe.

Also, remember, we, as the viewers have more insight into the characters so we know CWD is much better husband material than WJG. Coming from a viewer's perspective, I believe MX would be happier if CWD were given the chance and time. Therefore, it is quite reasonable for us the viewers to view WJG as a hindrance to a potential good match.

Totally agree. If they did the whole show in a different format, highlight different cases instead trying to fit in one main one, the show could have flowed better.

I think most people, well me at least are hating on WJG in this current arc. I didn’t despise him for not standing up for MX earlier. I accepted that the circumstances were such that they had to separate and I was satisfied that they decided to make a clean break. I even gave him brownie points for having integrity and rejecting MX’s request to be his concubine. He even wanted her to move on and find happiness with someone else.
It is now that he seemed to have lost his integrity and morals. He cannot stand the idea of CWD marrying MX. I don’t even know whether it is about his pride or he truly wants to be with MX.

I think she will continue to obsessed over her misplaced love. However, hopefully realizes that it was not worth it!

Very true. Liu Yi Ru is still holding back so the acting is more restrained. Unlike Gu Jiu Si who is showing all the emotions now.
I could watch Liu Xue Yi on repeat!

Bai Jing Ting really acts with his entire body, including his ears 😆 When his face fell because of something he didn’t like to hear, his ears literally dropped down and when he was happy and smiled, his ears rose…lol

Liu Xue Yi looks so different here but he still looks so fine!!!

Getting used to Song Yi’s acting. I think for me BJT overshadows her so I cannot help but think she could do better.
