I don’t like MX not because of how she’s treating CWD but because she seems capable of betraying anybody. Depending on the situation, and it doesn’t matter if it’s FY, WJG or CWD, she will bend accordingly.
You’re right, her and CWD’s relationship is like a Lakorn, hate to love kind. Not really kiss and slap yet although upcoming episodes indicate otherwise lol

The poor guy does not have competent subordinates, that’s why. If he had Xiao Wu (CWD) or Xiao Li (WJG), who knows he might already be with her…lol

I am so close to giving up on liking MX and I don’t trust her at all. She’s been swinging from one spectrum to the other and even if she decides to throw in her lot with CWD, who’s to say that she won’t betray him for something better. I have not seen her consistently defend one position, not even with FY who’s supposed to be her dearest closest kin. With WJG, she so fervently cannot give him up but once separated, it’s like Oh well, he’s supposed to be with FY anyway.
At least when FY takes a stance, she will commit to it.
Let’s hope we will see character development for both in the few remaining episodes.
