Yup, Jiang Ming will sure make a great boyfriend, too bad SZ is already in love with DJX for a long time. But…
That’s probably going to happen 😁 I just hope that the show won’t go the usual route where a heartbroken Jiang Ming will be comforted by the roommate and fall for her then.
I actually quite like Jiang Ming and he would have been great college boyfriend material if DJX was not in the…
I wish the show would stop creating love triangles where SZ's friend also liked the guy who liked her. First it was in high school, and now the college dorm mate.
Oh wow, that Jiang Yi is crazy! I am glad that DJX had SZ and respect for SZ - not many FLs would have that quick of a reaction 👏. It was also good that DJX did not hide the truth from her.
I think DJX always had a spot in his heart for SZ but in the beginning, I think he truly thought of her as his sister. With no other family, he treasured being able to take care of her and watch her grow. He even framed the picture of his graduation with her.
Now though, as we know, those feelings of care will transition into love...❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Only 5 more ep., and today’s ep has unnecessary flashbacks…hmmm. I really hope it’s not a rush and convenient…
Exactly, not sure why they had to include all the flashbacks. Those scenes happened not too long ago so no need for them. In the latest episode, it felt like the show is trying to make both couples happen but the execution was not done well.
Ep 32 felt uncomfortable and forced for both couples
The beginning part of the show focused on FY and WJG, and the imperial edict for them to marry. That was engineered by WY (plus Wu Lang). What's weird was that instead of being flat out against the marriage, both FY and WJG had a dialogue that was confusing to me. Like WJG saying that "it's not that I don't want to marry you", and FY saying that "she has had a lot of time to think..." etc...then there was an awkward scene of them holding hands. It felt like there were missed scenes showing them becoming closer to each other but still holding back because of MX.
The second part focused on CWD and MX. Of course the bad guys made sure that MX found out about the pending marriage and got her all flustered and upset. Because of that she almost fell victim to WY's man trying to kidnap her. CWD of course stopped that from happening. Unfortunately, CWD fell victim to the mysterious illness plaguing the people of Qingchou city, and during this time, because MX was so concerned over him, CWD deduced that she cared a lot more about him than she let on. He asked her to think who was really in her heart. MX was all confused but was becoming more sure of her feelings for CWD. However, the way this part was executed, felt very contrived to me as well.
Overall, I did not enjoy this episode since the show seemed to be forcing both couples on the viewers.
She's starting to nag CWD and her daydreams were about him. She's confused, but her change of heart was happening…
Agreed! The scene when he realized that he almost fell for her trick about the socks was funny. I hope that soon MX will show him that he can trust her
I cried and smiled through episode 3. For me the poignancy was perfection. The cinematography was great in the opening scene and the ending scene highlighted SHS’ acting talent. In between, the music was weaved into the scenes so nicely, and the dialogue and lack of it was well done. I guess it is obvious that I’m enjoying this show 😊
I shouldn’t be surprised but I really like ZLS’ acting in this show. I rewatched the airport scene in ep 7 and she totally delivered such a great portrayal of a heartbroken teenager. Not only with her phsyical acting and facial expressions but even her voice carried so much emotion. She is a talented actress through and through.
