Would it be a good story if the show followed the concept of opposites attract all the way through with FY, the learned, prim and proper lady ending up with our rough general CWD, and our unladylike MX ending up with the well-mannered dutiful WJG?
Ep 31 - Aww, MX is starting to act like CWD's wife
She's starting to nag CWD and her daydreams were about him. She's confused, but her change of heart was happening until he told her that she has to make socks for all of his army...LOL
Xiao Wu, being the good sidekick that he was, tried to advise CWD to be nicer and gentler to MX but that stubborn man's not listening thinking that she didn't like him so why bother... Sigh, listen to Xiao Wu, man! And stop bringing up WJG as her lover so much.
Seriously though, she's getting tired of his jealousy towards WJG and now she doesn't appreciate him giving her attitude. Xiao Wu tried to give MX hints why CWD could be upset but MX, oh MX - could you not tell that CWD wants to see you reciprocate his feelings, even if just a little bit for now?
The war situation was more tense in this episode with so many enemy soldiers attacking. CWD remained confident in his army's unity but like MX, I am concerned that he is overly confident. I feel so worried for him!
FY showed a bit of gentleness towards WJG and displayed military knowledge from her readings. It could just be my perception but it seemed like he was softening towards her but at the same time, he was mad that she was criticizing his lack of action. In the end, he did follow her suggestion, but it meant the loss of his reputation as a good general. Even WY warned him that what he was doing will only reap short-term gains and that he will never be a match for CWD.
Oh no, WY has a plan to defeat CWD 😟 Now I am stressed for CWD. 😟
Someone spoil me, did anything meaningful happened in ep 30?
We along with MX find out more about CWD’s past. MX seems to have overcome her misunderstandings about CWD and even suggested that he tries to form an alliance with WJG. CWD thinks it’s impossible since WJG is only a pawn operated by the bad guys. WJG and WY gearing up to attack Jingchou with many men. FY got very impatient and yelled at WJG for not doing anything. She blamed herself for not holding onto MX’s hand. That it is her fault that MX is with CWD now. She reminded WJG that MX should be with him, that they are the true match and he needs to bring MX home and clarify with his parents. WJG said that he’s trying and he will properly marry MX. FY left and WJG appeared to be very frustrated.
I wonder what people are going to say about CWD kissing MX. probably will get a lot of hate when there was not…
Yeah he deserved that bite! MX is really feisty and I’m glad that she can push back! I know CWD is a teddy bear but he also needs to learn to be more respectful of women!
