I guess it is possible that he is a child prodigy who knew how to hack and do online scamming in his younger days. I can believe that QTX is his aunt. Even a 10 year gap is possible. She’s probably over 40 in the show so he is in his 30s.

ZJK may have cared for LYT somewhat but if you watch their scenes, it’s always her saying and putting words in his mouth. She could be overthinking like he said about the passcode for the card. Also, ZJK of course chose not to die. He didn’t really choose traveling the world with LYT. He also did not choose LYT explicitly when he chose not to turn A in. He was also choosing QTX since as long as A is not captured, QTX is still an asset. He also let her get involved in illegal activities when she said she would make sure QTX gets out. He was still making use of her as long as it was about QTX.

You’re right though - it is a myth that one person can only love a single person. One can show care and concern for multiple people. However in reality, for me, there will always that one most important person that you will prioritize over the others when you have to make a choice.

I’m shocked at the horrid things she said to An Ni. How irrational was she to accuse An Ni for wanting to hurt her by not telling her everything. She wanted An Ni to cross the legal line just because of their friendship! Ridiculous!

Wow, LYT was such a witch towards An Ni, expecting her to cross the line just because they are “best friends”. Just because ZJK betrayed her, she’s accusing AnNi for having been targeting ZJK from the beginning. She was so irrational!

In the novel, the two sisters separate, so I actually hope it happens in the show ;p

Same here - I still like her as a character but I wouldn't say she is a great FL.

She is absolutely a decent person. I just would have preferred her to be honest with FY, especially since there was no indication that FY was going to steal WJG from her from the beginning.
You're right. She cannot be faulted for her being afraid of losing WJG. Her behavior with WJG clearly showed how possessive she is of him. In this case, I am more questioning his feelings for her.

That's a great point! I never got a sense that MX was his first priority and compared to MX, FY would be even less important.
Totally agree that WJG and FY would be bland - I wouldn't be surprised that they marry because of the emperor's edict and there is no deep love on WJG's part. He will do his husbandly duties and that's it.

Your analysis makes sense to me too. MX gave up too quickly with her imagination of their future being bleak. I also thought it was odd that WJG just caved into all of MX's badgering.

You're so right - MX is more naive than Ming Lan, who seemed shrewd from the beginning. In MX's case though, she immediately threw a temper tantrum and not giving WJG a chance. Ming Lan gave Qi Heng chances which he failed each time. MX has already given up due to her imagination of their future...
