But you’re right, I agree the exaggerated facial expressions are probably due to the character being mute.

Perhaps an upopular opinion - I don't quite like Yang An Qi's acting as Luo Yuan. I feel that her expressions are too over-done but I am thinking that perhaps since she is playing a mute character, she needs to exaggerate her facial expressions. Then again some of her expressions don't quite fit...

This show is doing a great job showing characters that are shades of gray.
We have the main character who make bad decisions, say and do things they do not mean in the heat of the moment.
I am enjoying these dynamic characters who at times struggle with their actions, who are not always clear if they are doing the right thing or what the right thing even is.

I like that about her...most of the actresses are pretty naturally and they don't need all the extra layers

Argh, everyone has a tragic story - LB, ZY, LY, Xiong Fei, Falcon, Captain Qingshan...Only the unnecessary third couple off in their own spoiled, entitled world

I like the pairing of Luo Yuan and Xiong Fei but I wish she did not start lying to Luo Ben. One thing that I had liked was that at first she was honest with Luo Ben about what she wanted to do etc but lately there's more sneaking around and hiding things. I do understand why she was doing it but I wish that she wasn't.

Agree - for example, ep 14 would have been perfect, focused on the two couples instead of leaving us with scenes of them

Totally agree with you about the actress. Although sometimes I get annoyed with the character because she reminds me of my little sister who gets her way by pouting and sulking LOL

Luo Yuan is very good at guilt-tripping the men - Luo Ben and Xiong Fei are such wusses the moment she starts sulking LOL

The scenes, the acting, Liu Yu Ning”s song in the background’- all hit the right spot for me!

Ep 14 - Luo Ben is hot when he’s all flirty! Luo Yun Xi looked extra handsome in this ep❣️

So true - I find him very sus...I think he will backstab Zhan Yan to get the job position that they both want...he's always acting all sweet and considerate, helping her avoid social gatherings and press conferences but it's really him sabotaging her
