Despite my dissatisfaction with ZY’s slow character & emotional development, I am really rooting for LB and ZY! Now that I know what to come, I’ll just suffer through the angst and look forward to the last episodes…

They are both restrained, not as enthusiastic as Luo Yuan and demonstrative as Xiong Fei. But I like that about them and their quiet intensity. I wish we could avoid the angst though

Have you watched Why Women Love also starring Gina Jin? The other ones that I enjoyed were The Rational Life and Go Go Squid 2. There's also Destined to Meet You and Love the Way You Are - I have not watched those yet but reviews are mixed.

Me too! I was kind of hoping that our leads would be matured and rational so that we can avoid this trope but oh well...just don't let it stretch past 2 episodes please
