I don’t think he’s heartbroken yet since she’s honest about not being able to open herself up to anyone yet. I’m more upset that she’s considering leaving to go back to Switzerland. They will probably get together soon though since we are almost past the 3/4 mark of the show 😆

Which episode are you on? The bitchiness was in ep 27 when the female doctor Zheng Ya Jie who was friends with Bai Shu and Xu Yi Ran. She’s the one in the first couple of episodes openly declared her ownership of Bai Shu. She came back and said that as long as Bai Shu is not married she will not give up.

Yes, I am enjoying it every much! The medical cases are touching, and many times emotional, and the slow burn romance is enjoyable if you like that kind of pace. Only two characters are badly written to me.

I liked how the show showcased the layers of different relationships and encapsulated life in many aspects and topics. It touched upon self-identity and personal growth, love (romantic and familial), respect and loyalty (to self, family, friends, and principles), societal pressures and opinions, friendship, and more.
Such amazing acting, cinematography, directing and camera work plus the rescue scenes that felt big-budget.
I know that those looking for good romance between the main leads will likely be disappointed by the lack-lustre ending. However for me, I enjoyed their complex yet enduring love and prefer to imagine a bright future ahead of them.
Final episodes did not disappoint in terms of the rescue scenes. Great cinematography, camera work, acting and use of music! Not the most satisfying happy ending for our main CP but very consistent in terms of their calm steady love. LB did give more towards the relationship I feel but the flashbacks reminded me how ZY also did some initiating as well. Too bad the show had to use some unnecessary tropes - noble idiocy with breakup, time skip, childhood link. Should have used the time for a proper happy ending with something more than just the reunion.
Todays eps: Eps 37 is a waste of time, I don’t care for Ming Ding whatever story…As I said yesterday I ship…
Just like the misleading previews, I think the writers will surprise us! I know it will be a happy ending but not surprisingly, it will be a rushed one.
