The show has done a great job so far portraying the female characters in a positive way whether or not they started off as grey. So, I was somewhat surprised by the introduction of this stereotypical scheming female. I understand her desire to get herself and her child out of their social class but using a child so unscrupulously is my bottom line.
I’m tired of Zhu Ying and Princess Lian. They”re both just such weak characters. I like how the emperor pointed out her lack of reason and her unfair blaming of him. Zhu Ying - he’s just blah… This two will probably pop up again but not so soon I hope
