I am finding less and less focus on ML and to certain extent FL too in recent episodes :(
I’m just guessing that the show will create some drama by a fight or misunderstanding causing Li Wei to go home. I hope they don’t go that way and use that cliche 🤞
This is a not a cute fluffy drama but I feel good watching it. The leads are great together and I hope that it is a HE for them. Even if it is unrealistic, I want them to end up together!

Me too! I have a feeling that there will be a separation when the FL goes back to her hometown but I hope not! It would be nice if they can make the remaining 20 episodes about how the ML solidifies his position in the palace and implement reforms inspired by the FL and other people around him. Also about how Yuan Ying is able to achieve her goal of being the first female official in Jin Chuan.

They are setting it up for the next big moments…the ML will for sure become more powerful in the palace, fighting political battles with his older brother and the FL will become even savvier, ready to support the ML

That’s one thing I like about this show - characters are reasonable and not needlessly blaming others. Just like Li Wei telling Ying Zheng that her not being able to go to the banquet was not his or Yuan Ying’s fault.
Well i see many bad comments but i like it. i love these kind of slow burn stories.
Me too, I found the slow romance nicely done, and Yang Mi and Bai Yu played their characters well. I am disappointed with the ending because it was too abrupt but overall, I enjoyed watching the couple

Love how the new couple was introduced to each other and how they ended up together was done realistically. Hope that their journey of love would be a smooth one!

If you are looking for a good romance where there are a lot of heart fluttering moments and real couple time including kisses and hugs, then this drama does not have it. It’s a slow slow burn romance where there are longing gazes and little smiles. There are confessions but no commitment until the last episode. The ending is dream-like and the show does not make it clear if it is truly a HE. I personally enjoyed the drama for the stories behind each medical case. I would have loved the show even more if the ending clearly showed them being together. Yang Mi and Bai Yu had great chemistry.

I personally enjoyed the drama for the stories behind each medical case. I would have loved the show even more if the ending clearly showed them being together. Yang Mi and Bai Yu had great chemistry.
