I love seeing how Yang Hua is slowly falling for Qin Shi. Qin Shi too! It’s so natural the way she is starting to lean on him and she’s starting to imagine things 🥰 As much as I don’t trust Li Dai, I’m enjoying their frenemy relationship - all the veiled bitchy remarks 😆 Haven’t watch the previews for ep 18 & 19 yet but I guess my good feeling about Tao Jun Hui will completely be destroyed!

I completely agree with you that he is a complete jerk and definitely not the ideal choice now.. However I do wonder how he would have been if Qin Shi and he stayed together. Also, I think he really treats Wu Fei more like a trophy fiancée. I don’t believe that he loves her at all.

I actually meant that they would have made a great power couple if they stayed together and grew in their careers together. I think he loved Qin Shi very much and I am so curious about their past. I really dont like how he is with Wu Fei - there's something totally off. Even though he acts like a dumbass with Qin Shi, there is an underlying bitterness and longing that makes me want to explore more.

I agree that it has got to do with multiple reasons. However, the stakes would have been different when she was younger, not as successful, and also in a real serious relationship. At that time, parental disapproval may have been a big deal for her...With YH, she never took it seriously because it was all fake... Regardless, I think you're right - I hope that the show reveals more of their back story, especially when Tao Jun Hui seems so bitter and constantly putting her down

Yeah, I guess so but Qin Shi left him and their 7/8-year relationship based on one conversation with his mother...sometimes, I would let my mother ramble on without actually agreeing with her, so I think it is a bit unfair 😁 Regardless, YH is a great partner. I just worry about his ex at this point..
