Love how Yuan Ying's mother came through for her (even cheated with notes :D)...honestly, this show does such an excellent job in showing female support in many direct and indirect ways...

Perhaps, but in many modern dramas, they also say they will be responsible for other display of affection that not as major as sealing the deal :) I think it's open to the viewer's interpretation since Qin Shi said nothing happened. I don't think she would be that dismissive if they did seal the deal.
To be honest, I hope that they did do it! I just didn't interpret it that way.

Ep 21 and 22 were so satisfying to watch! I love our leads even more!

Yeah she made it up to the 11th floor but on a trial basis for 3 months. She did not make partner but Madam Tang wanted to keep her somewhat happy after giving WuFei her office. Plus Mdm Tang also wants her to keep an eye on TJH because she suspects that he has a hidden agenda. Lastly with Li Dai leaving, they still need someone to manage the Family Affairs department. So naturally Madam Tang had to pacify QS by bringing her up to the 11 floor.

True - I don’t like the way he physically handled her on a few occasions. That’s one huge difference between Yang Hua and him.
I totally agree that YH and QS are best matched for each other based on their beliefs and principles.

I commented way below that I thought TJH would have actually been a good partner for her. Then I changed my tune after seeing the previews for ep 19 and 20, only to find out that the previews were misleading. TJH, in his harsh way, did Qin Shi a lot of good but he should also set Wu Fei straight instead of letting her act like a spoilt brat.

👏 👏 👏 Yang Mi! She was excellent in both shows!
