Same, I'm not crazy about her character either because I feel like everything is non-reaction but I do believe…
Yeah - she seems very one-dimensional and her reactions if any are odd. A recent comment said that the story seems to flow better after ep 9 so maybe we will see an improvement.
To echo the anti comment for Yezi. I don’t think there’s an English equivalent term for her type of character…
I agree that she will evolve into someone more ruthless and scheming, and it will be interesting to see how her relationship with the ML develops as she seeks revenge... The thing, though, is I don't see her starting out as pure...from the beginning, I felt that she was not an innocent girl. Instead, she has already developed a grey layer to protect herself from the cruelty of the tribespeople.
With emphasis on anti. PXR's character bugs me too. Its like everything that happens just rolls right off her…
So true - it's either her reactions didn't fit or there was no reaction at all...Somehow she feels flat to me...Perhaps it was due to all the scene or plot cuts (according to @BearFightingFanBackAgain).
Usually I am not bothered by the dubbed voices but somehow with Ye Zi, the dubbing grates on me even more because it does not match her character
After 4 episodes, I’m not entirely hooked yet but this drama is interesting enough to keep going. Not bothered by the age difference between the leads. Always liked Peng Xiao Ran but not crazy about her character yet…something just rubs me the wrong way. I like Feng Shao Feng - definitely a veteran actor and I have a love-hate feeling for Emperor Chao…he’s like an anti-hero in a way
I think Tsumugi never stopped having feelings for Sou but it did not mean that she did not truly love Minato. Her love for him was different. The phone conversation between her and Minato in Ep 5 was well done. Sou clearly still loves Tsumugi but I am glad that he was not portrayed as the active aggressor that caused their breakup. It’s just Minato knowing Tsumugi too well that made him decide that they were not meant to be.
I am rewatching You Are My Hero just because I wanted to see more of him :D
Do you mean Sandra Ma and BJT? I liked how natural they were together on screen and in the BTS clips. They were laughing and smiling so much with each other. Of course, that could be just an indication that they are really good pals but such positivity could also be a start to a great relationship :D
Interesting…Hao Jia and FangruPrince Han and Chef XiaoJust when you think this show is progressive enough with…
I was shipping Fang Ru and Hao Jia...I even thought it would be nice if Fang Ru brought her back to Danchuan, and there would be a side story where Hao Jia cross-dresses as her partner for while...
Sigh...With Yin Song gone, I wish they could just focus on the main couple...If only they did not add the 4th prince now...I hope that there is a twist and he is not the second villain...

I was shipping him and Sandra Ma after You Are My Hero
