I want to see FSG torture and kill the father first before MY, and then him very slowly. As for the Empress, I want to see Chengyang openly defy her and align with FSG! I don’t think she will die until she kills herself.
I know why I enjoy watching the Princess and Xingyan’s relationship! It’s like watching a mini drama featuring a toxic relationship between the leads - so bad and yet so entertaining…with the FL eventually changing the ML…
Excellent! tightly written plot, great acting, sizzling chemistry, good-looking cast, and a well-wrapped up ending with a promise of s2.
Zhu Li Lan remains one of my favorite mini-drama actresses and I think she's proven that she should be in proper dramas wiht her acting skills. I have to watch Zhou Jun Wei more but his dimples won me over and he also acted well in this show.

Truly enjoyed this mini-series and wished it were a full-length one. There is so much that could be explored, and the ending still felt a bit rushed. Still, the Show did very well in telling a good story and wrapping up most loose ends.
Compared to other mini-dramas, the skinship and kisses were not as liberal, more oriented to the warm-hearted family affections, but to me, the leads had good chemistry. They looked good together, and the ML's visuals really appealed to me.
Mini-spoiler: ML's confession was just so eloquent and heart-melting.
Overall, this is an awesome and feel-good drama where you will get satisfaction from the good guys triumphing most of the time.
Just like there will always be a cliff, there will always be a biological son plotting to kill the male lead if he happens to be the adopted son or godson.
