Thoughts on eps 25 & 26Ahhaha Uncle Taeng said it right, Khun is like the male lead from the old dramas! In hindsight,…
What a stupid bet! How does a barista competition show qualifications as a guardian or husband? If I were Fah, I would be disgusted with both men 😡 Stupid cock fight
In ep 25, I really like all of Khun’s interactions with Fah. From his speech about his special coffee blend dedicated to Fah, to his apology when they were in bed and even his sweet letter (although I never like a cowardly way of leaving someone). Khun really does love Fah in his own way.
Ep 26 - Poor Khun - you can see the heartbreak on his face when he went back to his parents and he hugged his mum. 😭
Still his pride and stubbornness is frustrating. If his plan is to win Fah’s father over, then telling her to forget him is not a good plan plus he’s getting mean again. 😤 Now that he actually told Fah he didn’t love her, I think Fah should take that and throw it in his face. Make him regret!!!
Yay for Fah!!! Standing up to her dad! I love our girl - yes she’s always the one chasing but I love her indomitable strength and drive! 👍 and the way she totally just goes against Khun
Ah yes, Pornchai is Khun’s fairy godfather!!! I knew it! Love his cameo here 🥰
Kawin is still a perfect SML…always helping his love because he only wants to see her happy. I’m still getting used to the idea of his potential pairing 🥹 Khaning is lovely though - if she wasn’t so loud LOL. The actress is pretty!
Urgh, stupid Dad - he’s never going to learn. I want him to totally fall on his hi-so ass and learn humility like the way he wanted to teach Khun a lesson. 😠
Ahhaha Uncle Taeng said it right, Khun is like the male lead from the old dramas!
In hindsight, Khun is pretty consistent in his behavior towards Fah. Even in the village, he was more of the strong silent type. At that time, the viewers were frustrated about how reluctant he was to make any move. So even now, I feel that is just how he is and we just have to accept that he’s the stereotypical “man” man.
As if being as different as the sky and the earth from Fah isn’t enough, Fah’s dad keeps insulting him. And…
I guess that’s where I’m a little disappointed with Khun’s character. He started off being very principled, confident and firm in his beliefs. He was proud of his upbringing and family. Then he went to Bangkok and got shaken up. I feel that his confidence especially about Tawan was lost so quickly. I can understand his hesitation about Fah but less about Tawan. Still you’re right - overall I can understand his situation
Grandpa is alone with Team Tawan - Let's see what he learns in the next ep
I have learned to watch multiple episodes in one go because after one frustrating episode, there is one filled with life lessons to follow. I hope the next one, there will be character growth for Fah’s father!
Your question about what tropes are still missing from this show, let’s see: 1) Time skip trope where Fah, so frustrated with Khun takes Tawan abroad for a few years. While Khun becomes more successful with the coffee farming and finally was able to find the courage to go after Fah and propose. 2) Resurrection trope - Pasuth and Namping come back to life. Turned out that they were undercover to catch the drug traffickers. All this time, with Kawin’s help , engineered it so that Fah and Khun will be each other’s support. 3) Childhood first love trope where Fah and Khun had met when they were young. Khun probably saved her from something and she has a fond memory of “that boy” 4) Riches to Rags trope where Fah’s father lost everything because Aunt Wadee really turned out to be evil and greedy in the end. So he had to live in the village and totally got schooled by Uncle Taeng and Aunt Bua. In the end everyone is happy and humble.
loved Khaning's outfit at the competition, also Namcha's outfite. Everyone looked good though. Khaning freaked…
Yeah- everyone looked particularly fine during the competition. I liked the black and white theme! Was it really just his pants unzipped? The way she reacted, I thought she saw more LOL Yeah this Khun - I don’t like how Fah is always the one chasing except for the time of his big confession. They better turn it around and make him chase after her in the end!
Probably the best episode ever, 4 more days and we say Arrivederci to Khao & Fah. I laughed at the scenes of Kawin…
Yeah - the bathroom scene was hilarious! We can guess that Fah is going to run after Khun again =( I kept hoping that Fah's father will have a redeeming moment, like when Khun talked about the village and the source of his pride but...
Thoughts on eps 23 and 24...Now I understand why Khun was so annoying in ep 23 - so that the show can do a life…
To be honest, if I were Fah, I would have made Khun grovel more when he got back. Instead of going to see her and Tawan, he went to the cafe first. Even then he expected her to understand and accept his explanation. Seriously, he may be the strong and silent type but Fah is not a pushover either...I would have love to see more balance between them.
Ah I see - the eventual pairing of Kawin and Khaning...feel forced to me but the bathroom scene was funny though.
This show is so tropey - now they even threw in noble idiocy into the mix. Based on the preview for the next episode, it looks like Fah is going to do more chasing....sigh, that poor girl needs a break!
Side note: I absolutely love Fah's fashion style. She always looks gorgeous!

Beautiful! I love the song and you captured all my favourite scenes. Now I want to rewatch! If I do write a review,…
Thank you ☺️ That’s usually why I would write a review - so that it pops up on the list and maybe new people will notice the titles. For sure, this show should be promoted even more!
Did it go as expected? Kawin is smitten by the love bug again? After finishing Heroes amd binge watching 8 episodes to finish ADOS, I had to give myself sometime to reset before getting back to this show - haha!
