Chen Lian came back and took charge! He knew how to stimulate QianFan, mentioning Pan Er and waking him up from his coma quickly. And then being the peacemaker, clearing some things up for Pan Er about Qian Fan through Zhao Di. He was also being more forward with Zhao Di which I appreciate! Hopefully Zhao Di will 开窍 (kāi qiào) and open up to his affections. Those two deserve a wonderful love story!
Chi Pan redeemed himself somewhat, and was useful for getting Pan Er back on track! Dai Xu, the actor playing him was good, alternating between comic relief and serious earnestness. I like the scenes between CP and ZPE and the director did well, incorporating humor into the serious interactions between them. My favorite LOL scenes : 1) when Pan Er high fived him - his face and reaction were priceless 2) when he started to get nose bleeds and know that he was a goner. He's totally crushing on Pan Er now. 3) when he indirectly confessed to Sanniang on Du Chang Feng's behalf
Du Chang Feng - he's an adorable teddy bear especially when he tried to protect Sanniang. The way he outlined to Sanniang the benefits of marrying him! His response when Sanniang confessed finally. Haha...he really is too cute and he is a good example of how one should go for someone who loves her more than she loves him (or her).
Other men who did not shine this time: Ou Yang Xu is even more of a snake now, still shamelessly hounding Gao Hui and forcing a marriage. Yucks, Uncle De is back again!
Qian Fan still avoiding Pan Er. Of course I feel bad for him, the poor guy has been through a lot. Still in a perverse way, I enjoyed watching him squirm in the carriage when Chi Pan, Pan Er and the others were needling him.
