Zhao Di has a secret identity i think. She is an escaped bride and maybe thats gonna be important. Or maybe not.
Yeah, I noticed the mom saying that! So far this show hasn’t included many unimportant details so I’m sure this will come up. Maybe when things are good again between Chen Lian and her, then this “fiancé” will pop up and Chen Lian will play hero 😄
You know, after episodes 29 & 30, I think I have gotten past my irritation about the use of the worst cliches…
1) I know Chi Pan is annoying at times but I like his character for the comic relief. He was a useful plot device to remind ZPE of her initial ambition, motivation and principle. Never count on anyone else but herself. Still he totally deserved that slap and his reaction when ZPE called him ugly!
2) From me disliking Minister Xiao to me supporting the mending of his relationship with Qianfan and now back to me utterly despising him. I don't know how much we can trust Xiao Wei's words but he acknowledged that he was jealous from the beginning and wanted to sabotage the relationship between the two.
3) Ouyang Xu, oh Ouyang Xu - you started off with nothing, ended up as the 3rd scholar and now back to having nothing and even having to eat dirt. The show is determined to make you one of the most pathetic characters ever. I want to see how ZPE and QF deal with you in the end.
4) Yin Zhang, despite what she thought, the reality was that she still ended up being a tool for a man, used for his and other's entertainment. I feel bad for her and I hope that she will land on her own feet, and on her own terms at the end.
5) The return of the Night Revelry painting and what chaos will ensue because of it.
You know, after episodes 29 & 30, I think I have gotten past my irritation about the use of the worst cliches ever to disrupt our OTP's relationship. There are other topics that the show need to get back to. The director meant it when she said that things will come full circle:
You know, Zhao Di is pretty smart. She was able to deduce that Song Yin Zhang had always been jealous of ZPE. It’s not only about QF. She has coveted what Pan Er has from the beginning…
I could get behind this theory if the stylist did not mess up everybody's hair...
SMZ definitely got better end of the deal although in the beginning, he looked a bit of a mess too. Thank goodness DFJ had the suaveness to pull off his style. The Advisor and the other side characters had similar shaggy longish bangs. In general I think the stylist was way too fond of the side swept shaggy look which did not go well with man buns. Even Xiao Yao ended up with the same look as BCF except it’s on the opposite side.
Is it bad I didn't feel that sorry at first when Khun woke up in the bed with Saimai? I'm thinking ....this man…
I didn’t feel sorry for him at all especially when he still didn’t figure it out that he got drugged. I was all prepared for him to pull the “I’ll be responsible even if I don’t love you” crap. So at least he surprised us by saying what he said, and I’m even happier that Fah heard it! Yeah the kidnapping was nice twist and will lead to some good outcomes, I hope!
If it was I’d have slapped that Saimai 😂 acting like she’s a mere virgin 😂 I thought Khao was a lot…
Yeah Khun annoyed me by being so passive. I know the show is trying to teach some life lessons about being tolerant and believing the good in people . But Saimai was truly scheming! Yeah I remember you saying that for sure Wat was the one who stole the CCTV video!
Yes, Khun finally redeemed himself even though it was Fah, acting like a boss who was smart enough to catch Saimai…
Ahahaha - I love that tag!!! I have to admit though that throughout the show, intelligence was not Khun's strength. He was portrayed to be kind-hearted and sweet. Just like even though he kept telling Khaning that he saw her as a sister, he never stopped her from grabbing him, and making other advances.
That's a good point. I think BCF would have gone over to the dark side even without the meds after finding out about WXS's death but he may not have been pushed to the point of derangement where he lost all signs of humanity.
Thoughts on todays episodes:Though I liked the overall episodes; I felt WR leaving WXS just as he loses his master…
LOL- true, when writers tell an actor to do the evil cackle, it's never good...I no longer think he is overacting - in fact he looks pretty manic...LYN did well emoting through his eyes and evil grin...

I was rolling my eyes so much in the beginning at Khun and Saimai, like really, you are going to use that plot line but I had full faith in Fah!!! 👍👍👍 Yeah I agree with Fah, Khun was so naive to the point of being dumb! Still the show managed to include a life lesson here... So some sweet moments and a Khun initiated kiss 🥰 🥰 🥰 , enough to appease my irritation from ep 20. Finally, we have our villain out in the open but I think Wat is only a small fry. I think the ultimate villain is the drug dealer but we will see... Based on the preview - is it terrible that I want Fah to get a little hurt (just a little) trying to protect Khun from Wat? At least Khun will appreciate her more - haha!
