😊 I do that too when watching dramas with subtitles. But for this drama, I play it on my laptop at a louder volume to catch the words. Sometimes, I would learn to say the phrases and then use Google translate. That's how I have been learning more Thai - HAHA!

Ep 21 - I was prepared for the scene everyone was talking about but the scene showing LC on one side of the door and SMZ on the other side, with the music in the background made me tear up. The song is very apt for such a scene.

To me, that's the primary difference between casting more matured actors versus young 20 something actors. These actors (CX and LYF) know how to express those different feelings perhaps through their own experiences!

Agree - I like watching Heroes but get that irritated feeling whenever the FL appears. So it's not 100% enjoyable for me.

Exactly, especially for a lead character...but if that is how the novel is written, then maybe the show cannot be faulted that much

For me GQF is more complex than WXS and BCF who both have singular objectives (one is to always do the right thing, the other is to gain fame and power). GQF will not hesitate to kill even his best friend if the circumstance calls for it but will do the noble thing if the circumstance allows it.
Also, I wouldn't say that he is whipped (YET 😂) - he is all about tough love but still giving his lady love room to make her own decisions. Overall though - you are right he is a typical ML, the cleaned up version of SMZ and DFJ who are grittier.

I know what you mean - I like watching the character but I don’t like his character - he does have the slimy vibe!
