So true…I admit I like certain tropes too but a weak FL with a terrible character is just so out of date! For period dramas, we can have worthy FLs who don’t know how to fight but are smart, calm and strategic. Like Peng Xiao Ran’s character in Jun Jiu Ling. She cannot fight but is mentally strong and resourceful.

I am watching on Viki. It has all the episodes there and the subs are pretty good. Sometimes I would have used different words but the translations are still acceptable. I am so glad that I can now rewatch with subs since there are definitely details that I missed the first time!

It requires patience and luckily I understand enough Thai so I don't have translate everything. Sometimes it doesn't work because the background music is too loud.
