Yeah - I like how he got bolder and bolder...Huang Chao was very direct from the beginning with the way he flirted with BFX but I like the way FLX is progressing in his lessons of love. 😊

Poor guy - his Grand confession attempts did not work out. 1st one's mood was totally ruined by his lady love, and the second one got interrupted. At least in both cases, BFX realized what h was doing 😊😊😊

I think so too! When I see her with the other actors who look about average height, and even with heels she still looks so petite next to them

Why do people think that there has been no confession? FLX told BFX that there is no Feng Xi Yun in his heart, only the heroic BFX...isn't that considered a confession?

Has Zhao Lusi ever acted as a villain or at least different from her usual bubbly characters? She did really well in The Long Ballad and she was able to carry the weight of the emotional scenes. I also like her in WRTW. Her smiles as BFX are so natural especially it's about HFX :D.

I was just wondering if she's played a different role where she shows a more cunning "killer" character because I see glimpses of it in WRTW.

For Wuxia/Xianxia, they are at the top of my 2022 list along with the main couple (Allen Ren and Dilraba) from The Blue Whisper.

I don't see the resemblance but they are both very attractive...I prefer Yang Yang but I enjoy watching XZL in his dramas as well. For both, I think they look better in modern dramas...

Me too! I heard in the novel, that they get married. I really hope that they stay strong as a couple and there is no stupid tropey misunderstanding...

Rewatching the episodes including the angsty episode 28. I love the slow burn romance with the couple's inner thoughts, gazes and glances, and the increasingly revealing conversations until BFX becomes the "best and most supportive girlfriend ever"! The chemistry is there, not as intense like other drama couples, but there is a comfortable feeling, like "they are meant for each other".

It's great that BFX gets to show more of how intelligent she really is, and I like seeing B/H FX's admiration for each other grows through the episodes.

I also like watching the political shenanigans especially when HFX manages to triumph over his annoying youngest brother and that Queen, but HFX's father is making my blood boil...

The fight scenes/choreography could be better for a Wuxia drama but overall still acceptable

The SFL finally arrived and my first thought was “she’s not all that”. I hope that NM will not have to go through angst while the ML figures out his feelings

The lead up to the show was the reason why I couldn’t rate it a 10 in my review. The ending was actually good but it seemed like the show cut one scene or left out details that would have led to a clear proper HE. It’s still worth watching and I’m going to rewatch when the subs are out

Rewatching the episodes and as usual enjoying the romantic set ups with the lighting, music and beautiful H/B Feng Xi… like the clay scene 😍

TBW was a good show and did very well. If you read the comments, the ones who watched the show rated it highly. The ratings went down mainly because of the lack of subtitles.

Yes! I watched the alternate ending and it provided the proper closure that completed my enjoyment of the show. I increased my review rating after watching it. It was not a full episode though. Just the last bit.

Thank you! I was able to watch it. I edited my review to increase the rating since the alternate ending provided a nice closure. Even though if I were to critique it, it was a bit of a rushed ending. I don't like time skip that far ahead :D
