Don’t stress - she does break his heart in part one but it is to save him. Her heart belongs to him and later you will find out that he never really hates her

Thoroughly enjoyed the first two episodes. There's a sexy and sophisticated vibe, and I love that they casted YKS and SJH. SJS never failed to impress me and I've liked YKS since Chocolate.

2nd episode done and so far, it’s worth watching. The plot is getting better and the show is revealing more layers to the ML’s character. I feel for him! If only they would air more episodes a week!

Kris Sun! He definitely looks better here than in My Sweet Girl 😂 Not sure what was going on with his hair there. That’s another show that suffered from a FL that couldn’t act.

Yes! She was great in legally Romance! Her chemistry with ZTao and other cast made me think that they were not even following the script. The dialogues were just so natural!
It’s just too bad for this show - it would have been a 9 for me if they casted better.

At least that’s what I remembered - she got a lot of criticism for her acting in Dance of the Phoenix and also Midsummer Full of Love. I dropped Dance of the Phoenix after episode 15 I think because I read that it had a really badly executed ending. I watched the show for Xu Kai Cheng but not even for him would I tolerate a terrible FL plus a poor ending 😂

But even the Chinese fans had lots to say about her terrible acting in the Dance of the Phoenix…

Totally agree! Song Zu Er would have been perfect! She has the mischievous girl next door look that fits the role plus she can act! So far her chemistry with her co-stars has been amazing!

😅 I use the Transcribe option, and would play and pause the scenes, play and pause , repeat and repeat. Most times, the Google Transcribe would catch the words well, and translate enough for me to get the gist of the dialogue. A few times the background music is too loud and it does not work as well.
Overall I understand enough but I will still rewatch when it is fully subbed 😄

Actually it’s not too bad since I like seeing Ken and Vill together so I don’t mind watching the same scenes a few times 😅 Also it helps me learn more Thai!

Ah, that's too bad. Hopefully she will be more of a supporting role and I hope the focus will be on the brotherhood and the ML's journey. As much as I love a good love story, I prefer if romance is not the main theme here.

Knowing that it is a Li Mu Ge drama, I was not surprised by the starting spoiler. Ah well, as much as I hate SEs, I am going to push on through for the main male leads - LYN, Baron and Joseph! Not sure about the actress playing the FL - she was terrible in her other show but I am here for the guys :D

I love this series! I basically rewatch each episode several times while using Google Translate so that I can understand most of the story. Plus I wanted to know what Thewan and Seraphi were cutely bantering about during their flirting :D

It's nice to be able to participate in some good discussions about the characters and scenes! I am looking forward to re-watching and catching little details that I may have missed during my first watch!

Hi! It's not so much the character but the actress playing the FL.
There is good acting versus bad acting, and for me, this actress belongs in the second category. She just pulls me out of being immersed in the story and enjoying the show.
Even when the script calls for her to act like a robot, she does not even look like she is trying. There are comedic scenes that have her suddenly show human reactions but the humor is mostly lost for me because she is hardly in character (as a robot) for the scenes to be effective.
Her micro-expressions are not great - in scenes when they are trying to introduce some romantic tension like when the ML gets really close to her, and she is supposed to look uncomfortable or affected, she either ends up looking constipated or just have this blank expression on her face. When she is fighting with her uncle or interacting with the scientists, there are hardly any differences in her demeanor or expressions. She hardly moves her mouth when she speaks so the dubbing is obvious.
Overall, she does not appear to be making any effort.
Of course this is just my personal opinion and others may find her to be an awesome actor. I was hoping for some improvement since I last watched her in Dr. Cutie but so far I am again getting annoyed.
The other actors are not stellar either but they don't seem as bad. It could also be because I did not like the actress from her other shows, I am already biased 😊
