Rewatching 31-36 because TLB is the only life I know now and laughing at the subtitles on Viki. Like when LeYan tells everybody to get out, the translation was ‘All piss off!’
I know Wei Shu Yu has become everyone's whipping boy but I don't think he is that bad. At least he is principled, honest and stayed consistently loyal to his family first. He was also clear about his feelings for CG and Leyan plus he knew when to move on after accepting that he potentially lost CG because of his own actions (or lack of).
I am glad that Shu Yu is not another amazing second male lead. I don't think I can handle a love triangle on top of everything else that's going on in the show.
Why did CG remark that LeYan and the Crown Prince were true brother and sister after LeYan explained that she is in disguise to see outcome of the match?
Ep 41 - Wu Lei is so good! The coldness he exuded when he told Khatun what he would do to her if she harmed CG, and then switching to soft mode, smiling so sweetly when CG teased that a mighty Tejin like him would never have noticed her if he didn’t bring her to the grasslands.
