Shi Ba and Xu Feng - another cute pairing. Kind of expected it the moment they started bickering. It would be funny if Xu Feng did manage to kiss Shi Ba. Another couple that get more action than our OTP :D

Regarding the happy or open ending, I read many comments about how it could be an open ending and I hate that. I rather have closure, sad or happy than a unresolved story.

That makes a lot of sense. The drama does so well focusing on the actors’ micro expressions and gestures. Hao Du’s accepting smile after seeing LeYan holding ShuYu’s hand - my heart broke!

I just finished A Girl Like Me and the main couple is amazing. It’s more light-weight but enjoyable for me. Less addictive than TLB but I do recommend it.

Rewatching eps 35 & 36 - I’m feeling for Hao Du. He places LeYan’s happiness ahead of his feelings. So annoyed at Wei Shu Yu and his inability to be direct. I like the actor but his character is irritating ?

I know, right? I couldn’t believe it too. How did it jump from 8.4 to 8.9??! I hope it goes above 9!

Re-watching episode 29 - I smiled so much seeing Hao Du's reaction when he found Le Yan (after thinking he lost her). His smile and that impulsive hug! He even joked that he ate her cakes.

That’s so true! I like that Sun realized that she has helped him and I like that the Eagle Divison boys acknowledged her efforts to keep them out of her entanglements.

Ah ok! I thought it was in a more obvious manner like how Sun clearly saved Changge a few times. Thank you!
