I love that every con turns into a full-blown production ā our talented trio never just scams, they stage it, complete with an ensemble cast and full on star energy.
Nice, I didn't know they were going to drop all the episodes today. Perfect for a Sunday binge. Overall, this was a show worth watching. Not as tight as the other better mini dramas but acting was good and as expected of ZLL, her chemistry with her ML was just right.
I was already satisfied the moment the villains got what they deserved ā everything that followed felt like a bonus. Sure, the ending required a bit of suspension of disbelief, but thatās fine; the entire story thrived on a theme of fantasy anyway.
Overall, it was an entertaining ride. Lee Chae Min stood out with his expressive and heartfelt performance, while Yoona has grown as an actressāthough thereās still a little room to refine her acting skills (especially in the kissing department, hehe).
Not a perfect 10, but definitely a drama I genuinely enjoyed.
ZLL again impresses me with her acting talent and the chemistry she has with her MLs.
Xiao Ren is not holding back with Lu Zhao anymore and I am loving every flirty scene! I am so glad that they cleared up the possibility of any incest right from the beginning.
The pacing has been great too. The story moves briskly without unnecessary filler, and Lu Zhaoās character feels refreshingly bold. Sheās not pretending to be weak or harmless all the time, openly taunting her enemies when she wants, while manipulating that Prince Chu so well.
Ep 11 was heartbreaking. Now I dread what the finale will bring. To be honest, I want to see Consort Kang and the treacherous prince get punishments worse than death, more than what happens to our couple.
What could possibly go wrong when you combine good-looking people, mouthwatering food scenes, breathtaking scenery, lovely songs, and the most heartwarming, pure romance? Absolutely nothing.
Every character is a green flag, and every episode feels like a smile waiting to happen. Itās sweet, fluffy, and blissfully free of angst ā the perfect comfort watch when you need a little pick-me-up.
The male lead is the dream man of every Asian mother ā no, actually, of every parent. Heās got a stable, respectable job, a kind and grounded personality, and just the right amount of charm. Despite being wildly popular from his side job, he remains untainted by fame ā warm, humble, and effortlessly perfect in that quietly dependable way.
The female lead is innocent and endearing, though at times her naivety makes her seem more like a high schooler than a college student. Thatās the only reason I couldnāt give the show a perfect 10. I felt like the portrayal of the character could be better. Also her wardrobe couldāve been more thoughtfully styled ā sometimes sheās dressed like a grandmother, and other times like a little girl. Still, sheās such a gentle, understanding, and rational character that you canāt help but root for her.
The side couples are absolutely adorable ā I found myself cheering for every single one of them. Thereās an unmistakable sense of camaraderie among the cast, and it truly feels like they all enjoyed making this show as much as I enjoy watching it.
Recommended ā a feel-good romance that radiates warmth, sincerity, and endless charm.
It's only that many episodes that's why it happens quick :))
Yeah, you're right. If it was not happening quickly, then I would probably complain that it was too slow and I want to see them together faster! Hehe...
Somehow, this is getting a little slow for me, which is surprising for a mini drama. Anyway, I wish Gao Fu would tell the FL what the ML did for Jin'er...
Are we really going to have a SE??? š

The becoming lovers part was great to watch so at the end of it all, I would recommend this show.
