I still cannot decide who I detest more - the love-brained princess or the vile despicable Wuying. Most likely I will end up pitying the princess and wishing the worst fate for Wuying.

I haven't reached ep 20 yet but I love the pacing of this show where secrets are revealed fairly quickly!

Yeah, I get understand her reasons but I was hoping that the communication between them was stronger that she could be open about it.

For both leads, it’s about how the people you’re supposed to trust—almost like brothers—end up betraying you, even to the point of taking your life.

Jung Hae In and Chae Soo Bin’s chemistry felt so natural — you can really see how their connection grows through small moments, shared empathy, and unspoken understanding. It’s the kind of love story that feels real and grounded, not rushed or overdone.
That said, it wasn’t a perfect 10 for me. The niece character just didn’t work — both the role and the acting were distracting. And honestly, the unnecessary conflict in the final episode? Totally uncalled for. Why do writers always think a last-minute dose of angst makes things more emotional? Sometimes we just want to stay in the cozy, heart-warming vibe!
Still, it’s a lovely, fuzzy watch that leaves you feeling content — definitely one I’d recommend for a quiet evening.

Yi Xiao is such a boss. FSG completely melts when she turns on the charm. Honestly, she makes my heart flutter too.
