I was already satisfied the moment the villains got what they deserved — everything that followed felt like a bonus. Sure, the ending required a bit of suspension of disbelief, but that’s fine; the entire story thrived on a theme of fantasy anyway.
Overall, it was an entertaining ride. Lee Chae Min stood out with his expressive and heartfelt performance, while Yoona has grown as an actress—though there’s still a little room to refine her acting skills (especially in the kissing department, hehe).
Not a perfect 10, but definitely a drama I genuinely enjoyed.
ZLL again impresses me with her acting talent and the chemistry she has with her MLs.
Xiao Ren is not holding back with Lu Zhao anymore and I am loving every flirty scene! I am so glad that they cleared up the possibility of any incest right from the beginning.
The pacing has been great too. The story moves briskly without unnecessary filler, and Lu Zhao’s character feels refreshingly bold. She’s not pretending to be weak or harmless all the time, openly taunting her enemies when she wants, while manipulating that Prince Chu so well.
Ep 11 was heartbreaking. Now I dread what the finale will bring. To be honest, I want to see Consort Kang and the treacherous prince get punishments worse than death, more than what happens to our couple.
What could possibly go wrong when you combine good-looking people, mouthwatering food scenes, breathtaking scenery, lovely songs, and the most heartwarming, pure romance? Absolutely nothing.
Every character is a green flag, and every episode feels like a smile waiting to happen. It’s sweet, fluffy, and blissfully free of angst — the perfect comfort watch when you need a little pick-me-up.
The male lead is the dream man of every Asian mother — no, actually, of every parent. He’s got a stable, respectable job, a kind and grounded personality, and just the right amount of charm. Despite being wildly popular from his side job, he remains untainted by fame — warm, humble, and effortlessly perfect in that quietly dependable way.
The female lead is innocent and endearing, though at times her naivety makes her seem more like a high schooler than a college student. That’s the only reason I couldn’t give the show a perfect 10. I felt like the portrayal of the character could be better. Also her wardrobe could’ve been more thoughtfully styled — sometimes she’s dressed like a grandmother, and other times like a little girl. Still, she’s such a gentle, understanding, and rational character that you can’t help but root for her.
The side couples are absolutely adorable — I found myself cheering for every single one of them. There’s an unmistakable sense of camaraderie among the cast, and it truly feels like they all enjoyed making this show as much as I enjoy watching it.
Recommended — a feel-good romance that radiates warmth, sincerity, and endless charm.
It's only that many episodes that's why it happens quick :))
Yeah, you're right. If it was not happening quickly, then I would probably complain that it was too slow and I want to see them together faster! Hehe...
Somehow, this is getting a little slow for me, which is surprising for a mini drama. Anyway, I wish Gao Fu would tell the FL what the ML did for Jin'er...
Ep 11: So Fu Wei did have a plan for herself and ZRX but I gotta admit, I agree with the other comments that this wiser FL has not become smarter... She is incredibly naive thinking that ZRX will just obediently follow her. ZRX is behaving selfishly exactly like she was from before, so how can Fu Wei not anticipate trouble with her?
I guess the current plot direction will push Fu Wei and Liyan back together again. I feel so bad for him, I wish he didn't fall for her so early and so quickly. Would love to see some push and pull there.
A little annoyed at the FL towards the end of ep 12. I get that there was a good reason why she's all emotional and borderline hysterical but she is wasting the sacrifice of the person helping her.
The younger version won’t listen for sure. She’s just going to go on stubbornly thinking she can change her…
I think she’s taken the next step to stop ZRX. Unfortunately even though she knows what will happen in the future, she cannot stop the unexpected and there is this masked man complicating things.

The becoming lovers part was great to watch so at the end of it all, I would recommend this show.
Anyway, I wish Gao Fu would tell the FL what the ML did for Jin'er...
I so wished the crown prince would expose his bride for being fake but I guess he's waiting to see what she's up to.
Where are people watching ep 13?
