Finally caught up with the latest episodes, and loving all the displays of affection and support between our leads. I really hope that this is one couple that will stay throughout the whole show.

Honestly the plot writing and execution are kind of weak but the romance is engaging. All three couples are entertaining.

Specifically about ep 24 - that Beidai Princess got away too easily 😡 We’re talking about attempted murder here!

Very engaging and the acting was excellent. There were some stupid mistakes or moments of plot convenience but overall I enjoyed this movie.

So true - and the leads are portraying that mutual attraction so well!

I haven't gotten to that episode yet but I really like the romantic vibes that the show gave us from the beginning!

Just started and binged until ep 12. A great watch so far and I am loving this couple! The plot is ok and the cases are predictable but overall, the romance and the main mystery are entertaining.

Landy Li is acting well as the FL - her expressions so on point, and the ML is amazing. I like that even though he's clearly intelligent and is aware of what's going on, he takes a step back and supports the FL who is brilliant.

Enjoyed this layered story with the ending message of what goes around comes around. Was t expecting the final scene but overall I thought the ending was a good one. The underlying political shenanigans and schemes behind the transport of fresh lychees kept me engaged. There’s some great writing in this show.

I’m really enjoying this adaptation. The Korean version was excellent, and the Japanese one is just as compelling. The FL and SFL here are more emotional and direct in their actions, less restrained in their feelings, which makes them all the more relatable. And with Satoh Takeru as the ML, it’s simply additctive.

lol I didn’t know CGH was Darth Vader… yeah the emperor needs to get some punishment and of course Darth should get the worst take down ever

Yeah that emperor got off too easy…just one decree and he thinks he can erase the years of hurt and torture

Agree..sometimes the supporting actors have a lot of talent like the one playing Nan Rui

As much I hate to see NH continue to be framed and misunderstood, things are turning positive in a sense.

Lol...I really like Song Yi De! One of the best dads ever and also the actor is a good comedic one.

Yeah she’s finally pleading for him and reflecting on his goodness. Even the emperor might have a redemption arc

Fingers crossed that she will be softer kinder starting like right now!

I still have to finish ep 28 so a little behind. Yeah even though he tears up so beautifully it’s heartbreaking seeing his quivering lips and sad face. By now I just want him to focus on self love and revenge against everyone. I have felt that way for awhile now - just want him to guard himself against the FL
