Great article! We are truly blessed to see such talent from K-Dramas :)
From your list that I really like - Park Soo Ae (I also think she's the best Korean actress I've ever seen, except for comedic roles) Ha Ji Won, Moon Chae Won, and IU.
There are so many that I would like to add to your list but I think these names deserve an honourable mention - Yoon So Yi, Kim Hye Soo, Kim Tae Hee, Bae Doo Na, Kim Min Jung, Shin Se Kyung, and Jeon Do Yeon, just to name a few.
She studied at the Cordon Blue in Paris, so I don't know if her version would be sub par. We can just say we don't…
I can't help but feel that since that moment when LJ chose her over his ex, she probably thought she's special to him not just as a business partner but maybe something more. So now she has that sense of entitlement, plus LJ's mum's backing.
I have a strong feeling there'll be cooking showdown between her and SN (I didn't watch the original movie so totally don't know what to expect).
Remember my advice about a big box of tissues for L&R? For this one, remember to watch on an empty stomach...so…
Perfect timing for this show to arrive right after L&R, to help cure us with food and humour. I put on hold Promise of Chang'an to be here, and so far this seems to be a more pleasant place :D
Its sure heavier plot, and there is no funny moment like L&R. And from spoiler they said its will be sad end :(
Oh good, love happy endings :) Can't help but think the FL here is another version of HC and our poor CY has turned into this drama's version of CXJ/ GoW - just a tool to "unite the realm" :(

Broken Clouds 2? Nice, I'll go check it out. Thanks for the rec :) I enjoyed The Untamed - funny thing was I watched it way after it was broadcast so wasn't really aware of the hype, and I nearly dropped it because the intro in ep 1 kinda turned me off. But I'm glad I didn't and really got into the plot - you're right, the source material is really captivating and watching it at times felt surreal.
I don't mind dark and complex, as long as there's light at the end of the tunnel. For this drama (Promise of Chang'an), it feels like that ship has sailed before the story even got warmed up lol

Yup, I was just ranting a bit from the annoyance I felt from the last scene. I guess when a dish is cooked with the goodness of pure love, it's superior to those made with ill intentions lol
You're right, she's trying really hard to win him over. Credit to her for patience and determination. Now the hard part begins - waiting for the next episodes.
Ru Xue is not bad too :D
