Congrats for publishing your very first article. It's very well written and presented. Love the recs, some of which I've watched and I agree wholeheartedly how compelling certain K-dramas can be. Some move us to tears and while others bring much laughter and joy for our viewing pleasure. Welcome to dramaland! 🤗
Thank you for this fascinating article. I've recognised a few similar places especially in K-dramas. Most obvious one would be the police stations used. Another one is the unique 2-story detached office building used in Remember :War of the Son and Priest, if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure there are plenty of others if I really dig into it but it's quite amusing to recognise places while watching dramas :D
While it's interesting to see strong female characters, it's disrespectful and ignorant to state that women playing…
I have heard good reviews about those dramas. Good recs! Don't worry, it's ok to share your thoughts. We all have different opinions and how we view dramas. I enjoyed reading your points of view :)

Appreciate your take on the topic. You raised some good points with regards to drama storytelling. It's not that complicated. Some dramas do not bother with in-depth study of morality. Whatever that the producers think is funny and will sell goes. Even if that means glorifying certain bad behaviour. It's simply our choice whether or not to watch it.

Actually when I wrote that comment, I was indirectly referring to Love Phantom, a drama which I was discussing with the author of this article yesterday on Friends Feed. So it's an inside thing between us. Personally I do not like to stereotype or label people or things. It's certain individuals and not all men that I was alluding to in terms of the undesirable traits which I had mentioned. Also, I think productions that convey such messages where its ok for men to behave badly and women to subjugate themselves to such men are in the wrong, in my humble opinion. In any case, I'm very glad that we've sorted out that misunderstanding :)

I would suggest that you read the full sentence instead of selecting portions of it. The part on undesirable traits of certain men. I did not say cooking for the family is a sign of weakness.
Awww, thank you ❤️. And yes, I'm totally with you! We need independent FLs! Did you watch the drama already?
Not yet but I'm a huge fan of Daisy Dai. I've seen her in another strong role in Storm Eye (actually the ML was also in that drama). I really appreciate strong and independent female characters that we can all relate to :)
Fabulous recap and extremely empowering! The drama sounds curiously intriguing too. We need more of such productions depicting strong female characters that break the cliché. Enough of weak FLs playing house and cooking for sexist, misogynistic, chauvinistic men! Good job for elevating awareness on this subject, you're my heroine :)
Hahaha can anyone please tell me how can i watch psych- hunters? I know it is available on YouTube, but it is…
Oh dear! Geo-restrictions again, they're such a menace to us viewers 😕 It's available for free, I think, on iQiyi but I'm not sure if it's available for India. The only other option left would be dramacool so hopefully you can watch it from there if all else fails.
WL and DD are fantastic indeed, we agree 😊
Glad to know you enjoyed the movie!
Hope you enjoy it too once you get to it!

It looks every bit as mysterious as the poster 😶

Another extensive list and some I hadn't heard of before too. This is gold!
Love it! ❤️
