Tribes & Empires is my favourite too :)
It benefitted greatly from the fine performances of a stellar cast. Huang Xuan, Shawn Dou and Zhou Yi Wei are top actors and perfect for the lead roles here.

Great article! I've watched 2 out of the entire franchise so far - Eagle Flag and Tribes & Empires. I really enjoyed the world-building and the cast selected acted very well.

I'm still watching WoH and TLB, along with Rattan. All of them I'm watching slowly too.
Many friends I have here also feel that way after completing WoH. So far I'm doing ok probably because I have a diverse mix on my CW and I'm not bingeing it.

I'm up to ep 6 currently. I have too many airing dramas to catch up on but this one intrigues me so far.
I actually opted to start this one instead of Court Lady and Ni Chang.
