Thank you too my wonderful co-writer who always gave positive comments ;D. Looking forward to work together with…
Always an honour and a pleasure to work with one of the best feature writers of MDL :)
Ah ok, I'll go check it out!

~ this isn't really a spoiler but just in case ~A lot of people are saying that this might be a tragic ending,…
Don't worry, most C-historicals feature very similar scenes in the title sequence and outro credits. It doesn't confirm anything in absolute certainty :)

Okay so I’m not liking this replacing the battles with anime thing they have going on since the beginning. That’s…
Thanks for the heads up, I'll prepare myself for the anime thingy and heartbreak before I binge the latest eps :)

What movie is that? I don't see it in the MDL database. I only played the Clue online game, lol.
I like crime thrillers and whodunnit in general. I especially like the concept of everyone in one place/ building as potential suspects of the crime and unravelling the mystery of which one is the killer. The movie Clue and the board game Cluedo is based on this concept, while for this drama, all the suspects are the inhabitants of Horizon Tower, hence the similarity. It's not the usual detective procedural where the police has to go out and identify the suspects :)

This sounds like the movie Clue, which is based on the board game Cluedo. I love this concept and actually have this drama on my list but haven't got round to watching it. After reading your lovely article, I'll have to pick this up again.

Thanks for the detailed insights and motivation, Cho Na! :)

Hi fellow Malaysian. It's on Viu but only 2 episodes are out so far. You can also watch it on dramacool.
Malaysians will need to use VPN to access that one.

Before i start watching, will this drama have a happy ending ?
You could try reading the history on wikipedia. Emperor Taizong's Tang Empire was at war with the Eastern Turkic Khaganate during that timeline and I doubt the censors would allow the screenplay to alter history. Perhaps that might give context to the story.

I don’t care how but if they don’t make that game an Olympic sport I’ll revolt!
If they can make Ping Pong Life, I'm sure they can and should make Cuju Life ala Qing Qing Zi Jing style :D

Thank you for your Part 2 of the article series. Great quotes from fantastic shows, each of them meaningfully expressed in the drama and very appropriate for the real world. Some of them I'll remember as a personal mantra for sure :)

Great article and I agree with all that you mentioned. This is a riveting drama that captures your attention and imagination from the beginning. It's a cleverly written whodunnit with a captivating soundtrack to boot. Can't wait for the big final reveal at the end of this intense roller coaster ride :D

Heheh I saw traces of Brad Pitt from Interview with the Vampire as well... :) I envy that you are still watching…
Lol, Interview with the Vampire does seem to have rather similar vibe, come to think of it :D
You're experiencing a slump? Oh dear, hope you get over it soon. There should be some good shows coming soon!

Very detailed and insightful :)
I will need to revisit the latter paragraphs after I'm done - still some way to go, for me.
That reference to John Malkovich got me grinning :D
