So far so good, not finding it too scary...until ep 17 1:40. Terrified the crap out of me lol Don't watch this episode at night with the lights off, like me :O
Oooo, sounds good. I'll probably start in a couple of weeks' time before Christmas, while I clear my on-hold and currently watching stuff. Yeah, it's unfortunate so many spoilers were floating everywhere, especially regarding the ending.... Sigh, Song of Glory all over again with Li Qin lol
Not yet, I'm watching a few ongoing dramas atm. Initially I was quite hyped to start but after hearing the spoilers, my excitement sorta died down lol How are you enjoying it so far?
Wonderful article! This reminds me to re-watch when I have time, but mainly my favourite selected moments, not the entire...pain again... lol Good job, guys! Really love the write-up :) Hopefully another epic xianxia airs soon next year, then we can all share our joy and frustration in the comments board again xD
Guys who do u think LZ is and who ML is? Why do I feel that LZ is doing everything so that ML can regain his memories.
It's going to be a massive plot twist once LZ is finally revealed, along with ML's identity. I have a feeling it's probably someone we might have already seen, and might even be a case of DID (I hope not, because that would be too easy)...
Great review! Really enjoyed reading it :) Although I didn't/ haven't (undecided on this) complete this show, it's already very plain to see at the outset Charmaine tops Tiffany in terms of performance. Since her TVB days, Story of Yanxi and now this, I think she has a knack for this sort of role, and it's a pity she wasn't the lead here. I also like your perspective on how the liberated Khitan women had to be reined in as a result of the Han reforms. Irony indeed...

The ending theme is performed by Wang Ye, called Let Her Go (放了她)
