Not like Nueng gave an enthusiastic yes to the question so it makes sense for Ben to only lightly kiss him and be tenative. And Nueng just allowed it, he really wasn't participating in the kiss because to me he was just trying to figure out of he liked it/Ben.

Well that might explain why no additional bodyguards . Mom could've thought it was a random shooting or personal grudge against her husband by a former fired employee verses one due to mafia dealings and a possible overtaking of territory.

Well the relationship, social status and feelings of the two couples of MSP and NLMG are totally different so it makes sense that the dance between GF is smoother and more romantic. I mean they were dressed as princes as if it was a Disney movie. I think later in NLMG there will be another dance at the beach and it will probably (hopefully) give a more romantic feel.

Oh yes. The younger doctor seems to be the end game but I don't find it romantic when someone has hung on pining for years after someone who has consistently ignored him. I guess they'll make him creepy enough to justify why they could end up together. Tho I'd so much prefer Ha Do Young as the romantic end game. I don't think he's pyscho but he will probably end up helping his wife to protect himself and his family's reputation.

Rewatch how Palm looked when he was first introduced to Nueng in episode 1. He actually gawked and froze a bit like he was dumbstruck for a second. How many times has he stared at Nueng or seemed flustered by him? The dagger glares he gives Ben from the start because he instinctively recognizes him as a rival.

We don't know if Nuengs family business is part of the mafia. Sure they own casinos as part of their overall business portfolio and deal with scumbags but that doesn't mean they got into bed with the mafia to operate them. The biggest threat to Nueng and his mom right now is the Uncle and the pissed off tenants which neither have anything to do with the mafia.
This is a story about class differences and the love story of 2 guys from different economic and social backgrounds.

Its neither. Its the classmate who supposedly stood up for Nueng in episode one before asking a favor and Nueng said he'd ask his mom. He's ratcheted up the bullying.
I think Chopper and Ben are ok people for now but who knows if they'll stay that way.

Maybe I'm a weirdo but I think a month is long enough for some people to be over the gut wrenching grief of loosing a parent to settling into a more quiet kind of sadness. He loved his father but his father was very absent in his daily life so maybe it feels a bit like more of the same.

I have 2nd lead syndrome. Sorry, I just don't care for Tae Young and Jung Woo as a couple.
It was confusing to know if Jung Hyun and Jung Woo were ever a romantic couple. Its seems maybe they were but they acted more like platonic roommates. It was never made clear. Their relationship breaks apart and Jung Woo has a bit of a cry in Tae Youngs arms but thats it. No more grief or sadness shown for no longer having someone in his life he just called one of the people he loved most in the world. Not that he had to mope for months but it didn't ring true.

For someone as lonely and isolated as Nueng, getting the courage up to ask was pretty brave of him.

Why would there need to be a funeral scene? What would it add? Most BL actors can't cry properly so I'd rather not see it.
There was a month time skip after the fathers death so I can understand the grief isn't as fresh. But you can tell that Nueng is still very affected by it all. He looks so depressed.
Most BLs are full of tropes so I just try to ignore them.

The acting based on the trailer doesn't look that great. Maybe the actual series will deliver.

The QD might not like the new CP, but no way in hell (in my opinion) will she want someone NOT of direct blood to become the new CP if something happens to Seong Nam. I don't believe she'd ultimately support Ui Sung nor reward his mother for being unfaithful.

The CP and princess will probably end happily because this drama isnt that cutthroat. But isnt she supposed to have a disease that affects her lifespan? How would she even pass the selection process if that was known? Wouldn't keeping it a secret be considered treason?

Yah, I'm not feeling the romance either. I get the Muans girl is willing to be a concubine and possibly that's preferable to being a courtesan but once the newness of love fades, she'd regret settling for so little.

Chungwha is a young, silly, impetuous girl but no way in hell an upper class family would allow their young daughter to run around the seaside not chaperoned. Do they not care about her safety or reputation? She doesn't even have a maid around her.

I loved their little interaction and want to see more of them than Seongnam with his potential love interest.
