You might be right. I'm finding myself bored with Thai BLs and either not starting or not finishing them. And don't get me started on hi heat Thai BLs with badly acted bed scenes with actors who have zero chemistry.

This drama can be a bit difficult to follow. I'd like it a lot more without any romance even if that meant toning down the bromance. I don't think FL and ML have much chemistry and I'm tired of knew each other as kids, reunite as adults and fall in love. Yawn. I pretty much skip her scenes.
I have giggled the few times when its obvious that Lu Zheng is jealous of the FL.

He intentionally did that to "feel" out Ji Hyun while hiding that he's obviously interested in case his interest isnt reciprocated. Kinda like how a person acts like they don't care about something while they really do but are afraid of being hurt so hide it.

I don't understand why if he cares so much for Ji Hyun that he'd start to date someone else while Ji Hyun was in hospital. Unless they're planning on him being in a coma for awhile and Jae Won feels so guilty he vows to leave Ji Hyun if he wakes up or to punish himself. Tho I'd hope he'd tell him once he wakes up and dates the girl after because otherwise how cruel to wake from a coma to find out your BF is dating another. I do think " I'm going to sacrifice my happiness without your input because I know best" is a tiresome trope.

Viki shows for me that 2 out of 10 episodes are available. Once an episode(s) has aired, Viki updates to show when to expect the next episode(s). Since the release for this series is 2 episodes for week, it makes sense for them to say episodes 3 and 4 next week.

Season 2 is dead in the water. The writers have broken up their partnership, Build is gone, Jeff is mostly concentrating on his musical career, Mile and Apo are filming a movie, Bible is doing his thing, etc. No need for a 2nd season.

Because the guy is naive and believes if he pleases the CEO, it will be rewarded. His boss isn't helping by making it sound like it will help. Won Young was already told by his friend in episode 1 he's too gullible.

Well their happiness at seeing each other at the coffee shop followed later by how long and how tightly they continued to hold hands after shaking hands. The smiles, glances back at each other. I feel they will meet for a meal and their relationship will evolve romantically. I think the script writers intended for a less ambiguous ending but there was a lot of resistance to a couple with a 20 year age difference.
They could never be a romantic couple until the hurts were healed and they became equals emotionally and professionally.

Well darn it. I watched it there after ep 20 so I could view ahead of whats posted on the Tencent app. For such short episodes, they should release like 10 a week.

Ok this is low budget but I'm still enjoying it well enough. 20 episodes in and there's plenty of bromance.

I get Youku would not want to pay to have the drama properly subbed before knowing when/if it will air, but the crappy subs are so disappointing, I can't get up the enthusiasm to continue to watch.
I've read the novel so generally know what's going on but can't enjoy the drama when I have to puzzle together the meaning of what's being said.

Can someone confirm? I assume the show will start sending the lowest ranked contestants home?

Well considering WOH is based on a BL novel where this isnt, plus WOH was filmed prior to the significant increase in censorship, its understandable.

Well the chemistry picks up later but if the novel is to be believed, Lan and Zhang are brothers so too much bromance probably would be frowned on. Tho if thats the case, cutting scenes that are fairly innocent like wrapping a hurt arm seems silly. I do enjoy Wang and Lans chemistry.
I thought Zhang and the Emperor have good chemistry together too.
