Yes, but to also abandon her child because she felt suffocated by her husband was mean. Sounds like she felt suffocated by her life - the one she chose. Life isn't all about love but its also not all about doing everything you want that makes you happy.
Funny how being suffocated by her alcoholic broke husband wasnt how she wanted to live but she felt it was a perfectly fine life for her young sickly son.

I dont dislike Palms mom, she's fun. But I do not admire the character and its a wonder that between her and his Dad, Palms turned out so kind.

I understand it to be when the switchover from Filmania to BOC was made, Poi promised to push for Build to keep his role because originally it was planned to replace even more of the cast. Not that Poi had final say but as the author her opinion counted alot.
Also, Gameplay who was cast as Chay in the Filmania version (but let go for the BOC version) posted something very mysterious about knowing the truth
and it will all come
out someday. Posting something like that right now seems suspicious. It could be about something totally different but still. Fans are wondering if he has info about Poi or Buuld or maybe both.

See I prefer this show over MSP because I'm so tired of music and singing in BLs as part of the plot. I FF thru it all.

GMMTV wanting to drum up interest for Perth Chimmon now so they wrote a part for Perth (Chopper) that wasn't originally part of the story. In the original teaser in 2021 there was a scene of Ben and Nueng walking holding hands so I assume they got to the boyfriend stage. But to give Ben Chopper time, they shortened the story of Ben Nueng.

Phuwin in an interview said this series is in the same vein as a very famous Thai drama from back in the day. I'm thinking Thai audiences care less than international audiences regarding plot holes or inconsistencies in their GMMTV shows.

In Jojo's previous series The Player, it also had stupid characters, plot holes, Joss is a hunk but not the best actor and so on. Even so, Jojo must be doing something right and making Gmmtv some money since they gave him more work this year.

You have to suspend belief in almost all BLs. Even in well loved ones. The goal is romance first and foremost, plot takes second. Otherwise, we'd be watching queer cinema.

The opening credits, why are the characters so small in size when introduced but then the one female character is larger so to clearly see her face? I thought maybe it was the FL reinforcing the idea that someone of influence likes her but can't be bothered to rewind to confirm.

Ok Palm not seeming to have any problem with his mom abandoning him at a young age just shows how easy going he is. If he doesn't hold much anger towards her ( that we see so far) it makes sense he'd not be too upset by the things Nuengs said or done since they met.

I loved how Palm asked if Nueng knows how to scold in Mandarin (after being told the Chinese guy scolds his BF in Mandarin)and he said "you fool." The same thing Nueng wrote on Palms cast. Both Palm and Nueng aren't subtle but neither wants to be the first to admit their feelings.

I think he understands no news is good news. If his mother died, it'd be all over the news so we have to expect she's ok otherwise he'd already be told via the alternate phone.
I think it shows how much trust Nueng has in Palm.

He strikes me as a man who knew he was expected to be married by a certain age per family plans. His family probably arranged blind dates with "acceptable" women. He choose the most visually and well dressed one to date and eventually marry. If not marrying for true love then I don't really hold it against him that he choose a partner he found visually appealing.

I'm just confused. Have very few people met someone and liked them from the start? Im not talking love at first sight because love should be earned over time but there is definitely crushes/interest from the first meeting. I've experienced it myself so I can totally understand Palm meeting Nueng and being attracted to him right away.

It seems like 10 years. The FL just comes off as older.
