Watch group is wise. Always listen to watch group. Pfft. I curate a watch group that I run in order to keep people…
Drama version. Not the movie version. I don't mind movies. But I tend to prefer the longer narrative form of dramas because it gives more time to sculpt the story.
This why I was weary about new people on MDL watching or coming here. We are going to get users that just like…
There is a handful of CP fans that track the prevalence of negative commenters back to me popping up. Despite that correlation doesn't equal causation. They think I emboldened haters and created a negative environment on the CP page that encouraged others to post in similar vein
Which is stupid. No one person posting on CP's page could accomplish that.

Right now I am watching: Triage Plus & Minus Meow Ears Up (I know, I know. It was sort of a bet. And I will never make that bet again. Fuck me.) Star In My Mind What Zabb Man La Cuisine Tasty Florida Dear Doctor I'm Coming for Your Soul Our Days and DNA Says I Love You
Several on this list are one or two episodes from the end. So this list is gonna shrink like crazy in a week and I've got to come up with other BL's to watch.
I can say that times, throughout an episode, I have moments, in which I mentally say, "shut off your brain", but…
The world class infantilism thing...I struggle with it. It makes it hard to turn off my brain. Ever. But for this I'm kind of forced to suspend a few "normal world" rules. And that kind of makes it almost possible. Even if it doesn't make it a comfortable watch.
I just finished episode two. Not sure if I'll drop it or not. The premise seemed promising in that it'll be something…
That's Fair.
I had never seen a cat boy story before this one and was only warned that apparently the genre is notorious for that particular quality. Of the cat boy being very naive or childlike.
But I stuck with it because I wasn't sure this was a BL. I thought that it was more of a bromance or buddy thing, since no romance was concretely manifesting. And it doesn't for a while. But yeah, toward episode 5/6 things begin to head that way, at least for Dermdem.
Which doesn't feel right. Add to it the ridiculous plot developments later and it's not worth it.

Well it's good to have friends here, then. And we can always talk! Not even here always. You can DM me too. And once I get the Discord group built, I'll send your invite along.

I don't have a link. Though people have been pestering me to centralize so we can all chat while watching some stuff.
What I do is let folks know via DM what I'm watching and then I use the DM feature to chat with each of them about the episodes. Some of them catch me on Discord to do it. Some of them catch me on the MDL page for that drama. Some of them DM me at my IG. ROFL.
I have been considering creating a Discord group in order to get everyone together in one place. What's your thoughts on that?

You know, I love Kpop, but I tend to stay on the periphery of KPop fadoms. S o I miss out on a lot of the drama. But you aren't the first person to recently compare Thai BL fandom misbehavior to Kpop fandom shenanigans.
It's gotten really extreme. And even more BS than I mentioned has been coming from the Cutie Pie fandom. Someone even tried getting my account locked down recently. Not to mention the behind the scenes bullying that goes on. So yeah, this has gotten very Kpop levels of crazy. I put up with a LOT in order to keep posting my opinion.
But episode 1-3 is very important. They were building the story. Each episodes and loops are very important. You…
It's not for everyone.
I have a watch group I composed for MDL friends to know where on MDL they can find me in case anyone wants to watch the same dramas I am. And several of them are not really interested in Triage. It's just not everyone's cup of tea.
I wish AIS Play was more international fans friendly. This show deserves more recognition. I'm just happy they've…
They explained in one SM post that it's a licensing limitation. They're heroes to me for even trying to do international language subs. They had to find wiggle room in their contracts to even be able to post them for the 2 hours a week. Essentially they're paying translators to do the work and getting no money back out of it because those viewers don't watch it on their streaming platform. So AIS Play is doing it expressly for the fans who love the show. And I am really grateful to them.

Right? Rating TMOTB down because of the ending was a damn crime.
But I had a couple people who hated my posts on the Cutie Pie page doing all sorts of crazy shit. I can be really polarizing because when my opinion is unpopular I don't let that stop me. There are a few folks in the Cutie Pie fandom on MDL that blamed me for bringing Cutie Pie's ratings down, so they hit up my list of dramas I've watched and gave bad star ratings to the ones I gave high star ratings to.
So yeah, the rating system here is problematical because there are a lot of immature and actually imbalanced people involved.
As a result, I've been considering opting out of the star rating thing, just so asshats like that don't know which dramas I like and which I don't.
International fans can always watch it on Ais Play, at any time. But not subtitled in languages other than Thai.…
It isn't easy, that's for sure. But I set my alarm and cross my fingers I don't miss it. But if it's really hard for you, I get it. And people who video capture it post it to Bilibili almost right away. Which would give you more latitude time wise.
Which is stupid. No one person posting on CP's page could accomplish that.

If you have any suggestions, throw them at me.
Honestly the moment her hat came off and it was hamster ears I was done with this drama.

Here's hoping the people over there will at least calm down eventually, as you say.
And there was none.
I'll work on creating a Discord group and then I'll send out invites. Thanks for the feedback.
Also, warning, when I do watch on Discord with friends, I'm a crazy trash talker. ROFL.
What makes it worth it is a big cliche. The friends I've made along the way. LOL. I've met some amazing people sticking it out.
