I leave negative comments on Cutie Pie episodes on Youtube and they disappear within 12 hours. Creators on Youtube can delete comments. The people who put Cutie Pie up to watch remove all the negative feedback so that it looks like Youtubers unilaterally love the show.

Mike, I have to admit, I don't do drugs but just getting through episode 12 was such a boring slog I considered watching it while high just to see if that made it more interesting.

So which is it? Was it not meaningful or did it address meaningful things? Criticizing a show for its romanticizing of toxic relationship dynamics and it's utter lack of coherent plot or functional pacing isn't being bitter. Although it IS judging it. But then anytime a person watches a show they judge whether it's good or bad. It's all just judging.

I love both. I was looking forward to a sweet and funny romance story, that thing some people claim this is. I didn't come here looking for it to be deeply meaningful. But I did expect it to have a plot.

I hear you. I've been watching BL's since about 2014 and this thing is boring AF.

They did indeed deserve much better. I feel like the whole cast did.

What's more, I feel like the production crews that made it look so good also deserved a story that was on par with the visuals.

You are more robust than I am. Even though it was only one hour a week I had to struggle to get through it. Often just because it was boring.

It's a fucking pain to slog through. You've got my sympathies. I just escaped episode 12 last Saturday and I had to legit fast forward a couple of times. It was soooo boring.

And I like a slow drama. I like dramas that are cute and sweet. This is not that. It's just bad. And the characters are difficult to connect with because of the shit they pull, keeping me from being able to at least even invest in the CP.

This is true. I suppose I should be glad GMM pulled Tilly Birds and other music for this or else even that would have sucked because the songs that were original to the sound track were so uninteresting they didn't even stick in my memory.
