Pond is not enough to keep this series afloat. Earth is totally miscast as a male lead for Pond, there is zero…
Pond and Earth are definitely mis-cast as partners. I don't think they have much magic (chemistry) going on between them.
But I feel it could be at least somewhat better if the director/screen writers would stop turning Easter into a child, and Hill into a mooning weirdo.
Because we have no chance of seeing what kind of chemistry Pond and Cooheart could possibly bring to their roles due to bad direction and bad writing. We know Pond can act. And we know Cooheart can act. But the directing and writing in this drama isn't leaving room for their abilities to come through?
I don’t care how much hate this series gets, it’s genuinely one of my favourite school-themed BL’s so far🥰.…
This series isn't getting hate. It's getting a rightful amount of critical response to what is an entirely lackluster production. "Cute" doesn't have to be poorly executed, confusing or badly paced. Nor does "cute" have to be exempt from chemistry. Therefore, a drama *attempting* to be cute is no excuse for what's wrong with this one.
how is this series still getting 7.8? come on ppl, lets be realistic. The first 4 eps felt like we were counting…
I have asked myself this exact same thing. I am not sure how it's maintaining a 7.8. Witchcraft? Because honestly, watching this is almost as painful as watching That's My Candy.
Pond and Cooheart have 0 chemistry and the drama's interpretation of the book's plot is all over the place. It's also boring and the pieces of flashback are too stripped of context to make a whole helluva lot of sense right now.
I am only holding on because North is well done. Bas is doing a good job.
I mean the main reason for me being interested in Johan North is mainly my love for Bas(who plays North) but if…
Bas is presenting the only interesting performances so far. So I'm hoping once Johan/North get their time on screen, things will be less boring. But given who is Director and who the Script Writers are, I am not sure that even Bas' acting can help.
I'm sticking it out. But this will be my last New Siwaj drama. He absolutely sucks.
"It would be soooo nice if they spent less time on the females feeling sorry for themselves or being loud and…
Yeah, New Siwaj pretty much ruined this. But he had help from the 2 script writers whose only claim to fame was this and We Are. So this project is doomed.
Highkey Cooheart and Bas have way more chemistry than Cooheart and Pond.... But I'm actually holding out for bae…
I feel the show is awful, but I'm sticking with it because North is the one, single interesting character and Bas is giving the only likable performance.
Tho, I do agree that between Pond and Bas, Cooheart has way more chemistry with Bas!
I think it will focus on one couple per four episodes with the other couples still part of the storyline but with…
Over the course of several interviews, the actors have asserted that there will be 2 seasons. And if you look at the list of alt names for the series, it lists "Fourever You Part One". Which suggests the actors are correct, and there will be a "part two".
Additionally, both Bas (North) and Cooheart (Easter) have stated during interviews that the primary focus of season one was the first two couples and that the exploration of the second two pairings will be left for season 2.
I cannot say with surety how this will affect the flow of plot or the weird pacing. But! It might explain why they don't seem in any hurry to tell Easter's story.
