No, you got that whole thing through. Parental pressure and expectation vs our personal sense of whether we're up to meeting those expectations is a really relatable problem.
One thing about Zee is that he will ALWAYS be a TOP TIER BL actor IMO. He always delivers RAW BL content and it…
I would need to see them in something other than this project. First, New overacts sometimes and it throws the chemistry off for me. Plus, I really REALLY dislike Lian, which also throws the chemistry off for me. So I would be all for seeing ZeeNew act together in something else so I could get a feel for their actual compatibility in a CP.
As for Zee's ability to kiss New or Saint or any other actor, I feel that's less about his orientation than his acting. They're meant to realistically portray a role, irrespective of that role's relationship to their own life. Gay actors play believably straight characters all the time. No reason the opposite can't be very true as well.
I had hoped EP8 would reinvigorate my interest but unfortunately it hasn't. I'm still so bored by it at :( Kinda…
I have noticed spot light usage in sex scenes a lot lately. Like someone sent out a memo to all the companies doing BL that hey, use a fucking spot light. It's sexy and atmospheric.
No, not sexy. And as for atmosphere, it makes the scene look like they're having sex with someone's flood lights set to "blind me".
[Episode 8, part 1/4 notes - Readers Beware] "It wouldn't be fun if I told you." - What the almighty F*CK?! That's…
Oh shit yes! I am with you on this. And your post was perfect, though if you need to get drunk just to chill after this mess, it's a time honored tradition.
PS: if possibly nu kuea learn to say “fuck you hia” in the coming episode some one should message me maybe…
Yep. And controlled by domineering and yet somehow still "good" father figure lovers. that will provide for their every need so long as they conform to their desires.
PS: if possibly nu kuea learn to say “fuck you hia” in the coming episode some one should message me maybe…
I don't think it's elder age or transference of granparent like aspirations onto characters since hell, some Millennials are now old enough to be grandparents. I think it's about the authors romanticizing themselves in the roles.
PS: if possibly nu kuea learn to say “fuck you hia” in the coming episode some one should message me maybe…
Hon, if Kuea learns to say "Fuck you, Hia" in the coming episode (and it doesn't result in actual fucking), we won't need to message you. I will buy a half hour of prime time space on all major networks and sing about it.
I disagree. If you are going to make a whole story out of it, do it in a way that it makes sense. I'm not sure…
I don't care what's in the novel. I only care what they put in the drama and how they go about it.
Point is, he hasn't apologized for it yet. And it's way, Way past time to do it. Like, that should have happened well before the tonsil hockey. Or forcing Kuea to move in. Or stealing security footage from his house. Or going behind his back to his parents... The apology for the initial insult is pointless if given after he's already racked up a huge pile of other transgressions he hasn't ever apologized for or made right either.
I'm sorry but what I'm about to say will be controversial. As a long-time BL fan (almost 3 years now), I am very…
Don't be sorry and don't worry about your post being controversial. No one should care, honestly. You have a right to your opinion, no need to preface it for easier consumption.
can somebody explain to me whats so good about cutiepie cause i don't get it, now i only watch this for nuea and…
Oh wow. You might not want to ask that question.
Someone is going to hammer you with either a LONG breakdown of the books and how you should love the show based on them, or you are going to get dogpiled with a lot of "Because it's lighthearted and funny and cute" comments wanting to know what about your sense of humor is deficient that you don't "Get it".
I am on episode 2 and am not invested yet. I don’t find the main characters likable . The only thing I can say…
They aren't likable. However the cinematics are great and yeah, the budget for that sort of thing must have been big. The storyline is ridiculous, but to me it's also just bad in very specific ways.
I can't say if the main couple has chemistry because the writing has them so all over the place I can't focus on their actual compatibility.

(Addendum: I see you've edited your post to read "Sexier" instead of "sexy" as it originally read.)
People are fucking weird.

And I agree with your views.

Honestly though, I get you.
