This movie wasn’t bad on its own, but I did see the original, so I couldn’t help but compare. The Chinese version was painfully sad and heart-wrenching, while this version felt much lighter. The conflict and climax just weren’t nearly as emotional or impactful. It was sad, but not sad enough to make me bawl my eyes out.
Was he sick during this drama? His face was really swollen, especially the last few episodes.
Not sure but I feel like he’s always had that bloated-ish look in all of his dramas (I hope that doesn’t sound mean lol he’s still good looking either way).
top tier acting from ji sung and jeon mido (which is expected) but honestly, kwon yul deserves as much, if not more praise for his role here. he was phenomenal especially in the final episode.
i don’t get the people complaining about the elderly scene. i thought it was nice, bittersweet and actually realistic in showing that that was the end of their happily ever after. they grew old together until haein’s time was up. they were together “forever” and that was beautiful.
I get what you mean, but it doesn't matter, because no one was there. So the police and court will just go off…
I believe the cops mentioned at some point that they think they started fighting at the dinner table hence the blood drippings and the blood on the walls & handrail. But yes, they’re framing it as a rape case and I agree that the actual story doesn’t matter to them because they’re already fixated on their own storyline and the circumstantial evidences.
He didn't throw the fight but made himself far easier to kill by removing all bullets but one. He went super theatrical…
You got the gun/bullet part wrong. Jiwoo has a revolver while Mujin has a pistol. It was Jiwoo who took out the bullets from her gun (which was dumb tbh). She fires that remaining bullet while fighting the strongest and last man standing in the elevator scene. Then as she was fighting with Mujin, she drops her revolver and Mujin picks it up.
Can someone spoil me what exactly they are depressed about?? She lost her child?? What about the husband and what…
Bujeong - lost her child, her job, now works as a cleaner, and she feels that she has not accomplished anything so she no longer has the will to live.
Kangjae - lost his father and friend who both committed suicide, he doesn’t have a very respectable job, and he doesn’t have a clear path of where his life is heading towards.
Jeongsu (Bujeong’s husband) - I don’t think he is depressed. His main issue is that he is unaware of so many things about his wife. He doesn’t know how to communicate with Bujeong but even if he tries to, his wife doesn’t reciprocate. The love that they had as a married couple has turned to pain and loneliness.
I have yet to see a white actor in a Korean drama without me cringing at their acting. Where do they, I mean producers,…
I wonder if they even held auditions for the VIPs or just randomly casted old white men who spoke English.
I really could not think of any reason why anyone should watch this drama when there are so much better death game dramas out there. I myself regret wasting my time on this. Ok wait, maybe I have one reason. Park Hae Soo looked so fine here so if you wanna see him… give this a try lol.
I did not really have any expectations for this drama, but I saw a lot of people online comparing it to Alice…
Completely agree! It was pretty easy to guess the “twists and turns”. The games were not strategic at all (except for the tug of war game) so guessing who would die next wasn’t hard either. There was really nothing that kept me at the edge of my seat. Commenter above is so triggered by constructive criticism, saying “relax, dude” when they themselves need that chill pill. 😭
Agree with you! And for the VIPs one of my first thoughts was: How do you make an average drama worse? By introducing…
All that build up and cool set design were ruined once they began speaking. I wish they just stood there and didn’t have lines at all. It would’ve made for an aesthetically nice shot at least lol. The way they were delivering their lines as if they were reading off of a script was so bad it actually became comedic. 🥴
Playlist is a platform for webdramas, mostly rookie actors and actresses start out from here, it might not be…
Just wanna ride your comment and say that the acting is indeed SO bad. Those two people above that replied to you have insanely low standards for them to consider the acting “good enough”.
