On Hello Stranger: The Movie Feb 23, 2021
Well, it's $6.99 for me to rent it. Which is still half the price of an actual movie ticket (a discounted one, that is), so I can't say it isn't value for money. Might give it a go and see how it works out.

Title Tonhon Chonlatee Spoiler
The pacing was weird, the storyline made no sense, most of the characters were terrible, attempted rape again (and did anyone else catch that rather disturbing line Amp said to Neung about him 'doing to Chon what that senior did to you'? WTF? No, WTF? That's not how a senior-junior is actually supposed to work, right? The whole surrogacy plot was not only skeevy, but who has a child just to please their parents? Whose going to raise that child? Ton? Ton's parents? What's Miriam's role in it all? What's Chon's? Chon is still in uni and Ton is only just graduated (if we can trust the timeline) - how are they supposed to raise a child? And you can't just have a character cheat and then say, 'but I loved you all along' as an apology. IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY. What is Chon even doing with Ton when he'd bee so much better off with Na? This shit is on par with En of Love Love Mechanics as the worst BL I have ever seen.

Manner of Death and Tharntype 2 haven't finished airing yet, so it doesn't feel right to me to vote for them since I know, personally, I can go from completely loving a show to being majorly p'od about by the last episode. (and vice versa.) This is just my personal opinion, mind, and I'm not trying to tell anyone else what to do.

I loved the OST for The Untamed/CQL so much that i forked out a truly ridiculous amount of money for the two CD collector's edition with photobook.
I also really like the OST for the HIStory series. 'Hey' from Make Our Days Count is my absolute favourite, but 'The Rice Omelet of Love' from Right or Wrong is great too.
Thai BL dramas have some great music as well. I really liked 'Be Mine' from TharnType, เพลง นี่คือรักใช่ไหม and 'Is This Love' from Why R U? are absolutely my jam.

Speaking for myself, I have no problem with paying for VIP. My problem is that WeTV isn't available in Australia,…
@danielmor I use TrustZone, which I've had no problems with - so far. I don't pay for WeTV, I pay for Viki, and only watching an episode a week doesn't bother me, once again speaking only for myself, because I don't watch tv series episode by episode. I wait until the entire season is finished and then marathon it all in one go.

Why are you all bitching about this being VIP? You should be grateful its somewhere available with eng subs plus…
Speaking for myself, I have no problem with paying for VIP. My problem is that WeTV isn't available in Australia, and finding a reliable VPN isn't easy as people make it out to be (and you have to pay for the really good ones, which when you combine that with the cost of a VIP subscription, may be out of some people's reach financially.) I also already pay for Viki and, whilst LBC 2 is on the app, but so far this show isn't. I hope that will change, but who knows?
I'm really annoyed with this. After all the teasers and the full trailer and all the promotion, the studio has just given the middle finger to so much of the fanbase? i wouldn't mind watching it on Viki, but it's not even listed on there for me to add to my watchlist and WeTV has geoblocked it because of copyright - hypocrites, much? - so where else do I look for it? It isn't on YouTube either. This sort of sh*t is why so much programming gets pirated.

I loved The Untamed. I found it confusing, yes, but I follow quite a few blogs on Tumblr and one of them makes posts giving out quite detailed information about the show, so I had some ideas about courtesy names, titles etc. before I really started. The only thing is that the flashback lasts for 31 episodes, so by the time you get back to the present day in the show, you've forgotten some of the minor characters who turn out to be more important in later episodes. The good thing about it is that there is a special version up on YouTube that is only 20 episodes, so people who struggle with longer dramas may find that easier to watch. I got some other things to do, but when I get some free time in a few weeks, I'm going to marathon 'Birth of the Drama King' (which i've heard is very funny) and 'S.C.I' (which isn't historical but I've heard good things about.)
