It's really difficult to get into Cdramas because most subs are so sh*tty even on the official channels... The subs for season 1 of this drama never improved even tho it has been years. And the translations for the second season are even worse... Really sad tho. I watched the first season and know that they have great conversations but it just doesn't come across with those translations. Started the second season today and had to stop because the translations didn't make sense at all and I just couldn't continue like that... Bet we'll never get good translations, because season 1 still bad as well T-T
There is a reason why KDramas are so popular compared to all the other east-asian countries dramas. Internationally they are easily accessible and with good to great translations. Japan seems to have no interest to get their dramas known internationally... the fan subbers do all the hard work. You have to be lucky and thankful if the japanese drama you want to watch has subs or is even accessible. For chinese dramas... 70% of the dramas I've watched had bad google translated subs... just a handful were really good translations.
I worked as a subber on viki before and still think the best subs are still from fan translations... Official translations are so half-as*ed sometimes... it's quite sad. Would love to watch more Chinese and Japanese dramas, but it's not easy...
Should I watch the second season with those really bad subs? T-T
I think his behavior was completely understandable. It's his first love and he's still really young. Also Mudeok/Naksu was so manipulating and wicked again. I'd be pissed and petty as well π
Maybe Jang Wook and Naksu will find their way to each other through the jade, when she eventually returns to her real body. He doesn't know what Naksu looks like right? Or he saw a glimpse of her, while her body was burned...
Honestly I stay away from theories as much as possible because I will be disappointed if they are true , kinda…
We don't really know how Naksu was before she entered Mu Deok's body. We saw a glimpse of how she is when she is fighting. But her past self seemed pretty kind as well, if we think about the scenes with young Yul. So I doubt that she was that different. She seems to be herself, because she's still cunning and manipulating. Of course she couldn't be ruthless with that new body of hers, because Mu Deok's body is weak compared to hers.
She also softened up because she has people around her who care for her... she didn't have that when she was a lonely assassin. AND more importantly she knows now that her father was soul-shifted and killed her whole family, so there's no reason for her to hate or kill someone of the mages... she was trained to be a ruthless assassin, but there's no reason for that anymore. I highly doubt that Mu Deok is influencing her...
One thing that worries me is, they might go the route of,Naksu goes back to her body ends up with her "first love"Mu…
That would be so weird tho... Jang Uk and original Mu Deok don't even know each other and that's Naksu in Mu Deok's body. He fell in love with Naksu, not Mu Deok...
Also how could no one even notice how UK treats Mudeok even the way he looked at her when he asked which sect…
I also think it's weird people ship Jang Uk with original Mu Deok even tho they don't even know each other. It's just her body, everything else is Naksu. It's obvious Jang Uk is in love with Naksu and vice versa...
Come to think of it... But isn't Naksu also just a name she got because of her reputation? We actually don't know Naksu's real name. Her father's name was Jo Choong... I'm curious what her real name is. She has basically four identities... Mu Deok/Bu Yeon/Naksu and Naksu's past/original birth name.
Thought this drama couldn't go any lower.... but wtf was ep 14? Was it really necessary to kill that poor child? Have to go even lower with my rating now.
Already watched the preview for ep 9 a thousand times, because waiting is torture and I'm so excited for the next eps!!! So so excited! kyaaa π
Seems like there are gonna be more openly romantic gestures between our leads... and tbh if the scenes in the preview are real and they are openly longing for each other... I'm kinda surprised. Of course they were always pretty direct with each other, but not in a romantic way. At least not to that extent. And I thought about why it changed and I think the yin and yang jade eggs have something to do with it. Not that it changed their feelings, no. They already had romantic feelings for each other, but maybe the jade eggs have influence on how they express their feelings.
Anyway I'm looking forward for those lovely scenes! Meanwhile binge watching the latest eps and preview again :D

Papago translated it to this:
A meeting that brought the fate of the soul-changing world to an end.
She also softened up because she has people around her who care for her... she didn't have that when she was a lonely assassin.
