Yes I have noticed it and his eyes are so expressive. I don't know why nobody is seeing that his eye expression…
I was confused why people said he wasn't acting good. Because I loved the expressions in his eyes. I love actors who can display emotions just through their eyes and he definitely can! It's really soft and subtle, therefore felt so natural for me. In contrast to the overall exaggerating Chinese acting style, I was so pleased with the natural acting in this drama and knew, I'd love this drama. And then I came here and read so many comments about his acting... Am I watching another drama? Another actor? Because I love his acting :)
I really dont understand what you guys mean by stiff. Do you mean he doesnt move his face that much? That he doesn't…
I didn't get the comments about the acting as well. Because for me the acting seemed much more natural and realistic than in most Chinese dramas. It's refreshing to see a Chinese drama without exaggerating acting style. One of the reasons I'm so happy with this drama :D
I started this drama on a whim, because I liked the cover picture. I didn't read the summary plot or seen any of the leads before, because I'm not an avid fan of Chinese dramas. But I love it so much so far!! ❤❤ I'm not a fan of the gaming parts, but I'm so into the rest of the drama and the lead couple is really enjoyable!
And after reading some comments.... I might be watching another drama than anyone else, but why are so many complaining about the acting? I love the acting! It's natural, realistic and not over the top like in most Chinese dramas. Maybe people are used to these exaggerating acting styles and expressions we mainly see in Chinese dramas. But for me it's soooo refreshing to see a Chinese drama without overdramatic acting. Also the leads have so much chemistry in my eyes! I see a lot of complaints I can't agree with. But to each his own! Everyone has an opinion ;)
The ONLY regret that I have about this drama.... is that I've watched it too early, when not even half of the episodes are aired!! Why did I do that >_< Now I will suffer through the weeks waiting for new episodes. I'm already inhaling every short trailer I find on youtube, but that makes the waiting even worse xD
I'm tempted to read the novel, but then I'm scared I won't be satisfied with the drama. But I heard great things about the novel... should I read it? :D
I'm at episode 10 now and am really enjoying this drama. The main leads have great chemistry and the acting is awesome. I've got a HUGE crush on the FL. She's beautiful, cute and sexy at the same time. The actress is so good at acting so I wanted to check her other works out... But it seems this is one of her first dramas and her first lead role. So good already! The ML acting is also so natural and enjoyable :D Actually this is not really my kind of plot, but the characters are so natural and enjoyable to watch ♥️♥️♥️
I'm not interested in e-sports so I found this to be a boring watch. I dropped it at ep 10 after realizing this…
I actually think this drama had a lot of focus on romance and bromance. If you're not enjoying the gaming part, just skip it and enjoy the rest of the plot :) I also liked Go Go Squid but I loved the couple in Falling into your Smile more, because there wasn't any unnecessary drama or misunderstandings. I think their relationship was much more healthy than the one in Go Go Squid ;))
It's hard for me to get into Chinese dramas... so I'm really happy when I find a Chinese drama that I like! Also happy that Xu Kai plays in a modern era drama. He is in quite a lot of historic fantasy dramas, but I can't get into Chinese historical dramas XD I loved him in Arsenal Military Academy and was delighted to see him here again :)
And this one was definitely a good drama and is highly recommended. First of all I loved all of the characters! I will definitely miss the team and their bickering scenes :') And there weren't any misunderstandings or any other annoying cliches for creating conflicts. Also I enjoyed the main couple so much ^-^Their relationship was so well developed and they didn't become boring after getting together, which I think happens quite a lot when the leads get together. I watched Go Go Squid but skipped the gaming part, but here I also enjoyed the gaming part and their conversations during the competitions.
So I'm really happy that I watched it. I'm rarely fond of Chinese dramas, even tho I start watching quite a lot, but end up dropping them T-T If anyone has recommendations, feel free to leave me a comment :) I'm leaving mine, which I enjoyed: Go Ahead, Falling into your smile, Go Go Squid, Arsenal Military Academy, Forever Love, A Love so Beautiful and When we were young :)
Falling Into your smile was great and I'm definitely going to watch it again after some time :)
Well, while I do get your point, aren't almost all series/dramas on the world based on humans lives, therefore real issues? Take any hospital drama u have out there, about 50% of the plot/scenes won't be realistic or authentic. You can take any genre u want... That's why it's called fiction. Especially some Korean Dramas aren't really on the realistic side.
If people want so watch real life issues, they usually watch documentaries ;)
I think Uju's growth spurt is the only one that is undeniably noticeable and no one can do anything about it.…
Haha it was so funny how they actually put his growth in the story line as well and put that men in black scene to tell the viewers, that we should ignore his growth spurt XD
How do you come to this conclusion? Did you watch the drama? I would recommend to watch the entire drama, because not everything is black and white. And that's exactly the reason I love this drama a lot :)
Just watched this drama for the fifth time and it hits the feels every time. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, because it's quite realistic and not everyone enjoys slice of life dramas. But out of all the dramas and series I watched until now, My Mister is definitely in the Top 3 . And I watched a lot ^^
I give 1000 out of 10 after my fifth time watching! ❤️ Wish to watch a drama similar to this, but not found yet sadly :'(
Save me got to be the Korean drama, which was hella nerve wrecking for me. Because it felt so real to me. Something like that likely happened in real life.
I loved Flower of Evil as well. Was kind of put off by the last episode but overall an amazing drama!
So I just watched the fifth episode yesterday and yea... I think this drama might not be my cup of tea. Even tho I really like the plot, I just can't seem to like the characters especially the main leads. I know Ryok is supposed to be a tsundere, but he's just a jerk. Shouting at Maha in front of people ... he's just plain rude. There's nothing charming about the way he treats her. How is she falling in love with him that way? I just can't reason with that. They seemed to have a better relationship before they both became idols.
And the female lead... I don't know what it is about her. Maybe the actress is not suited for this kind of role? Because... let's be honest, she's not a good dancer. It's kind of cringe to watch her act as an idol. I like her personality in this drama tho. She's kind of clumsy sometimes, but usually speaks up for herself.
Out of all the hundred of dramas I watched the last 13 years, "My Mister" definitely holds the crown. Watched it 3 times already and even with friends, who don't watch any asian dramas and they loved it so much. I can't think of any other drama, which made me feel so many emotions. I always recommend this drama, if people ask for a Korean drama to watch :)
The only thing I hate is how they killed Jang Han Seo off. For me the most developed character in this drama. His death was quite unnecessary and could've been easily prevented. The writers already give the hint that Han Seo will be killed by all those conversations he had with Vincenzo. But the way he died was just dumb and badly written. The writers really messed up big time with that scene :/
What a great drama! So exciting and thrilling until he last episode! In the beginning I kinda had to warm up to this drama, but slowly every character grew on me and I enjoyed it so much. I loved how the good guys had the upper hand most of the time, because usually those kind of dramas let the good guys suffer until the last few episode, but here it was kinda the opposite and it was still thrilling af.
I'd say this drama is more character driven than plot driven and there is hardly a character that I don't like. I even love the villains of this drama. Jang Han Seok was an awesome well written character. I really loved ALL of the characters in this drama. The cast was picked so well. The acting was amazing! The humor was hilarious and the romance was such a great slow burn!
I stopped watching by ep 5... the main couple's scenes were so cringe and overdramatic since ep 1 and I just couldn't bear so much cringe. Season 1 was cringe too, but wow... this is another level of cringe. I liked the main leads as individuals but put together, I just couldn't stand their scenes. Thought I can endure it, but I have to give up.. Maybe I will skip to Wang An Yu's scenes, because this actor is stealing the show for me :D His eyes are deep and mesmerizing *-*

He finds it out relatively early. At the end of the fifth episode.
