„I was wondering if the fish talisman might be a scam. Handing over the fish talisman now is very FISHY“ LOOOOL Idk why but I laughed so hard at this 😂
Can someone recommend me dramas with the same amount of romance angst that happened here? I don't care about misunderstandings or miscommunication if they are well-made and I loved them here!
I absolutely loved the angst in this drama! It made me crave for more lol
I've binge-watched this in the last few days and it was a really good watch! The writing was amazing even though the ending traumatized me as much as it traumatized the FL.
That this whole drama was actually just a dream of hers and her redemption arc never happened is realistic but a hard pill to swallow. I don't know what to feel. I'm heartbroken. Everything that happened in the whole drama, actually never happened. Wow.... that's just cruel. So everyone of Hua Family died... Oh Qian Zhi 💔 Also Hua Rong Zhou never existed to begin with. Also she never fell in love with Zhong Xiwu... but just the version, she knew of her dream. He loved her dearly, but it was a one-sided love till the end. I don't know what to feel about that. I wish I could delete the last episode from my mind.
I guess I could've lived with novel's ending better. She would not have ended up with Xiwu, but at least, all the things in the drama actually happened. I read they changed it due to censorship, but it's a really cruel ending imo.
What I really loved was the angst!! It was so good! I love angsty dramas, especially with lots of jealousy lol This was such an angsty romance drama. Was it even romance? I don't know...
I miss this drama and its characters so much! Just rewatched tons of clips... I wish this director and writer would work on a new project together.
Also I absolutely miss Ik Jun and Song Hwa... I love this kind of romance. I still rewatch their scenes a lot. Can someone recommend me dramas with couples like them? Maybe friends to lovers and slow burn.
Well... I can't be the only one who thought that whole exorcism plot was dumb af? lol Especially that Imperial Diviner villain. How dumb was he?! I just had to laugh and facepalm a lot this episode 😂
Tong died such an unnecessary and dumb death... How convenient that Duke Su's man came just "in time" AFTER she was killed...
I do like this drama a lot, especially the leads and their chemistry and the acting, but the story sometimes is written way too cartoonish for me... Got the same vibe like those Chinese short-lengths dramas.
The character massacre is starting...I bet they will kill off a lot of characters in the last episodes. I really hope they won't kill the leads off in such a way as well... I don't have a problem with a sad ending, but I hate stupid written deaths.
I absolutely understand why the BL part was not made explicit (minor/ gangster adult). Come on be reasonable,…
Agree with everything you said! I just finished ep 6 and it's so obvious Se Kyung liked original Yi Heon and has a lot of affection for him. As you said the viewer can interpret the relationship differently. I therefore don't need this labeled as BL to see it.
Also so far it has been Gangster dude and Se Kyung's interactions all along. So what do people want to see exactly? I think they are doing a really good job at not making this risky writing too much "tension" between Se Kyung and Gangster, but still showing us that Se Kyung deeply cares for Original Yi Heon.
Oh, this masterpiece is trending again on MDL~~ So, I guess it's time to get nostalgic and praise this once more :) This is one of the best dramas I've ever watched ❤️ And I watched a lot in the last 15 years lol I still rewatch it at least once a year and never get bored. Maybe it's time for another rewatch haha
I especially loved the character development of all the leads and the journey the trio experienced together. The acting was superb and the ending was incredibly satisfying and healing. It left me with a cozy and warm feeling, something Kdramas rarely do for me these days. Someone commented that this drama felt like "therapy" and I couldn't agree more! The children's fairytale stories that accompanied some side stories were brilliant. I'd totally buy those books if they were real. The stories and illustrations were awesome! And the OST was fantastic.
I've seen some negative comments here and there, but everyone has different tastes and that's totally fine. Personally, I loved this drama and nothing in recent years comes close to it. I'm thrilled to see it trending again, so I just wanted to stop by and leave a comment 🥰
Binge-watched 4 episodes and this is pretty good! I usually get bored easily with Action/Thriller, but I was glued to this one 😊 I'm so happy to see Ji Sung in a drama again. Also Jeon Mi Do! And the other cast is great as well!
The High School "romance" scenes seem out of place, but I guess we will further find out the "connection" to the past ;)
I liked the first two episodes! The dynamic between the leads is fun and it kinda reminds me of the bromance in…
Just really sad that Kim Deuk Pal actually died. Well, his soul remained for now, but I thought he would be in coma, so there will be a body left... Now there is no body he can return to. That means he will eventually die for real , right? Really sad :(
He seemed to be an upright person and died while saving someone T-T
I liked the first two episodes! The dynamic between the leads is fun and it kinda reminds me of the bromance in "Miraculous Brothers". I loved that drama!
The fight scenes could be better though. The fights are a bit "cartoonish". I feel like, if this was directed by the same director from "Weak Hero Class", then this would hit so much harder and would seem less "cartoonish".
But overall the first two episodes were really enjoyable :) Looking forward to more!
I'm looking forward to this drama. I haven't seen Lee Seo Jin in a long time :D
A lot of negativity in the comments. The story sounds interesting. I understand the disappointment about removing BL, but the original also doesn't sound like it was heavy on the romance. So maybe, hopefully we will still get subtle affection :)
Actually biggest supporters of this drama are the "boycotters" lol Coming here daily and writing the same comments over and over again. They contribute the most by their so-called "boycotting" haha Good to have so much time on their hands :D
What's up with your judgmental tone? Stop projecting you personal feelings/experiences on some fictional character.…
Girl, go touch some grass lol
I would understand your comments (not the foul language tho), if there was actually something wrong that he did. But he did not. If not for him, you can kiss happy ending goodbye actually.
You gave other dramas high rating, even though they had actual worse SMLs or SFLs, so why acting like a moral apostle here?
This was a really good drama! The acting was superb! Definitely rewatch material. I already watched dramas of both leads, but I think they really had the opportunity to go all out with their acting here! I will miss their characters of this drama a lot and I feel like it will take some time to for me to get this attached to drama characters.
Sun Jae and Sol were iconic! The chemistry and acting was insane ❤️ And Sun Jae is the greenest flag of a ML, I ever encountered in my 15 years of watching Kdramas. I also loved the bromance. Tae Sung (my best man! ), In Hyuk, Dong Seok and Eclipse members were such enjoyable support characters!
I give it a 9/10. I loved this drama overall, but feel like the middle episodes had too much fillers and I really couldn't stand the second couple. I skipped almost all their parts. This kind of slap-stick, cringe comedy couple is not my cup of tea.
Hey, please somebody tell me this drama DOESN't HAVE FUCKING LOVE TRINALGE , i started Second episode and FL already…
What's up with your judgmental tone? Stop projecting you personal feelings/experiences on some fictional character. It's just the 2nd episode and he never crossed a line, EVER. Your ranting sounds childish and embarrassing... 😂
Tae Sung is one of the greenest flag of SML you will ever see. PERIOD.
At minute 47, when drunken Sun Jae thanked and hugged Tae Sung for ending their ill fate by capturing the culprit, Tae Sung was on the verge of crying. It was subtle, because I think it wasn’t scripted, but the actor got emotional as well and got teary T-T

Weirdos jumping on my comment in 3.....2.....1
Also on your profile it says "female", that why I addressed you with "girl".
Happy watching tho~
